The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Attn Joe de livera

Dear Joe
My daughter was has had acid reflux from 1 week old. She is now 4 months. Her doctor prescribed losec but we have not given her this and would prefer not to use it. I took her to a local homeopath about 2 months ago who prescribed phosphorus lm 3 as this was what matched her personality best. This helped but for only 3 days she then Increased this to lm 5 where we saw a remarkable improvement. She started sleeping through the night and was in great form spitting up less and able to drink more of her formula. This only lasted 2 weeks where she again returned to waking during the night and crying out during feeds. The homeopath did not want to increase this any further and prescribed aethusa but this did not help either. We are no longer attending the homeopath. When I came across this forum I decided to try your joepathy and am glad to report we have had some success. I initially gave her 1 nat phos6x after every feed reducing to half day 2 and quarter day 3. She was on infant gaviscon which reduced spitting up however i cut this out completely. The nat phos helped alot and although she continues to spit up this has reduced. She is in better form and sleeps great during the day. I have ordered arnica30c in the liquid dilution which arrived today. In the meantime I gave her 6 pillules diluted in cooled boiled water as couldn't source spring water. I gave this 3 times a day 30 min before feed day 1 and twice yesterday. I found this helped alot particularly with sleeping during the day as for a few days when we started the nat phos she was very difficult to settle and woke frequently from naps v distressed. At the moment she still has severe hiccups can only drink small amounts of her formula has alot of wind and spits up a little. She sleeps well during the day and is in good form but is unsettled at night and wakes frequently. My question is should I continue to give her nat phos 6x to help with the spitting up and now that I have received the arnica liquid dilution shud I introduce that straight away 3 times daily eventhough I have cut down the pillules? Also do u think phos lm6 would be beneficial as the lm5 really helped her before. She has severe eczema also and I thought this improved with the phos lm5. I apologise for all the questions and would be very grateful for your advice Kind regards micaela
Thank you sincerely

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I gave my daughter a half tsp arnica 30c in the wet dose this morning and she has been very unsettled during her nap the last few hrs walking and crying frequently. This is unusual for her as she is usually v settled during her daytime naps. I'm not sure if she is just having a bad day or if it is related to the arnica. Im new to this forum and do not have alot of experience or knowledge of homeopathy. I'm am also unsure if Joe de livera still gives advice on this forum and would therefore welcome any advice from other people thanks micaela
