Ammonium Carb and chlorine/swimming pool

Hello,

I was told that Ammonium Carbonicum reacts with chlorine. I was wondering if there is another alternative for my swimming pool, like Baquacil, that won't react? Thanks.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Chlorinated water won't antidote the homeopathic remedy Ammonium Carb.

There are no chemicals in our remedies to react with your pool water.

My main symptom is eczema on my hands, and the homeopath that I saw said that I have to be careful going in the pool once I've taken the Ammonium Carb?

Then your homoeopath has no idea how homoeopathy works. Taking that remedy will in no way affect your sensitivity to chlorine.

Can you further explain that? I tried to Google it and thought I saw a site about how chlorine reacts with it because it's ammonia but now I can't find the website. I am happy to hear that my pool should be ok, but am wondering why I was given that information by my homeopath. I'll also have to ask her for clarification. She felt that spending a lot of time in the pool could cause an increase in the skin itching and redness. Thanks.

I think your homeopath is talking about
what pool water does to you with
chlorine in it. Chlorine is hard on your
skin and hair, which is why they have
hair products to try to take the chlorine
out. And I used to swim every day for
years, would put conditioner all over
my hair under the cap just to try to seal
me off. It does dry your skin etc etc
and then you have to shower etc to get
the stuff off you when done- All of that
bothers people with normal skin and
if I had a skin problem I can imagine that
would be an issue.

Forget the remedy doing anything to
you, there is nothing of the substance
in the remedy except a molecule imprint on the remedy and all it does
is try to activate your vital force so
your body can heal itself bc there is
nothing blocking your life force.

As Simone said, there is nothing physical in our medicines, no chemicals, no actual Ammonia. Your homoeopath MUST know that as it is taught on day 1 of every course in the world on homoeopathy. It is the main reason homoeopathy is not accepted by mainstream medicine - as far as they are concerned we are only giving water.

You should indeed ask her for clarification, and advise her you have been told there is no actual Ammonia in the medicine. I would be interested to hear what she says in fact. Perhaps it was just a misunderstanding, and she didn't meant to link her advice to the specific remedy you are taking.

Hi--for David--I got that Dr.Yurkovsky
book on Homeopathy for Catatrosphic
Events, etc and how to make your
own remedies in 5 minutes.

But he had a very good explanation of
how homeopathy is really physics and
plain water does not give off an electrical
charge, yet testing water, lets say with
a drop of Arnica for instance then registers 7hz charge. Water holds the
imprint of the substance and water also
has the quality of holding in or shielding
the vibration of the substance so it
stays fixed and then works with the body bc we are mostly water. The
homeopathy works with what physics
calls the plasma body our energetic
body so it is really physics science
going on here.

Dr.Emoto Masaru also showed that the water is changed in a measurable way, but it is not chemical. His book was wonderful and a provided great support to what homoeopaths have been saying all along - that the unique nature of water is what allows us to make our medicines what they are.

I meant to post this sooner. I saw my homeopath again. I misunderstood what she had said the first time I saw her. She agreed that there is no ammonia in the remedy but said that many remedies can be antidoted by chlorine. Chlorine can stop the action of the remedy with repeated exposure depending on how sensitive a person is.
