Homeopathy and diet

I have seen many posts where patients expect to be cured solely relying on medicine. This is wrong !!!

The entire reason u have the ailment in the first place is due to bad diet. If you are sick as a rule of thumb you should have a bland diet. Not sweet not spices and not sour.

In addition all people should avoid

Cheese. Peanut butter. Cold drinks. Yogurt especially in evening or night. Non veg smoking and drinking.

U could be on the right remedy but it just won't be showing affect as ur diet is so poor.

Any doctor worth half his worth will agree. Diet and water alone can cure and prevent 99% of ailments

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi, thanks for this post. Would like
to know why peanut butter is bad if
it is just mashed up organic peanuts
and nothing added?

thanks very much.

Peanuts are very heavy to digest. Anything that isn't digested fully will cause health problems.

Nice to know-especially since it is
American favorite for kids, I cannot
tell you how many peanut butter sandwiches I have had in my life.

Everyone should fast one day a month on lime juice and a little honey just to detox.

Not people with acidity however.

But try and follow a bland diet. Amla and aloe vera and apples and pomegranates and lime juice. These are very very very good for cleansing the system. I cannot emphasise how much. And how important regularity with bowel movements in the mornings everyday is.

I totally agree. People with poor diets will never achieve full cure, even with homoeopathy.

Thank you Brisbane. I have seen a number of doctors prescribing the right remedies on this forum but the patients are still not reporting positive affects - and we cannot be sure if they have followed the right diet.

e.g if u r treating someone for sinus or asthma yet they continue to eat yogurt/ice cream or cold milk, cheese. Then no homeopathic doctor in the world or even hahnemann himself could cure them -

a note to all patients - diet is key and the primary solution to your ailments

Well I think that you can cure asthma despite eating dairy products, since eating them does not cause asthma but is caused by the chronic miasm. You can cure the miasm and the asthma will disappear. Will that patient arrive at full health? Probably not, since cow's milk is not good for us, nor is ice cream and cheese can be problematic. Yet different kinds of milks and cheeses can be less problematic and even quite nutritious, when balanced out correctly in the diet.

Nutrition is the foundation on which good health is built, but no amount of good nutrition will prevent the progress of the miasm, which will undermine all efforts we make with insidious cunning. Of course poor nutrition means that the vital force has less tools to work with, and our work is enhanced when the patient pays attention to this aspect of their health.

Indeed you are correct - thats why i did not say dairy - but cold milk, cheese ice cream and yogurt are ALWAYS bad

milk should be boiled then cooled to luke warm

yogurt should be mixed with water to form buttermilk or lassi

ice cream and aged cheese are always always bad

soft cheese/paneer freshly cooked is good.

If you say I can't eat meat or fish, I don't like pasta or rice based meals, can you give me some help as to what I can have please?
Thanks

Hi Kohler – yes I can understand it is not an easy diet to follow but your stomach has been under stress from a poor diet for so many years and it needs time to heal. I am of Indian Italian origin which is primarly based on wheat or pasta but I can recommend dishes of mixed vegetables, soya, fruit (sweet fruits like apples, aloe vera, Indian gooseberry (amla) pomegranates, bananas, watermelon, limes) no oranges or lemons or pineapple. If you do not like wheat based sandwiches then barley flour is a good substitute.

Freshly made bread or chapattis are ideal. I know the western diet does not cater for this and there are ready made sandwiches containing so much salt and preservatives. You should be able to find plenty of Indian recipes or vegetarian recipes online. Tofu based meals and quinoa based meals are popular on the internet too. You can start introducing dairy products back into your diet slowly once you feel your stomach has healed.

But I will always advise against fish and meat.
If you eat dead food your body will too become dead.

some of the oldest people in the world
live in Japan and they are a huge
seafood culture. Whether it is sushi,
or other fish etc-They have a lot of
knowledge about balancing foods with
vegetables, etc.

The Eskimo were living on reindeer and
seals till white culture took over. And
they did not have anything else. So People adjust to what is in their environment. I think it is good to eat
'local'
And I do not see what is wrong with
eating unpolluted fish. I can see the
red meat part bc of cholesterol issues,
and the difficult digestions etc.You do not mention
fowl?? or eggs.

I don't eat wheat because it bloats me as does wheat bread but I like rye bread which is a bit easier for me, sprouted bread is good and rye crackers. I try to avoid wheat as much as I can and grains I find make my nose run so there must be a bit of an allergy there.

Pulses I presume you can eat - but I'm surprised that not even lean chicken/turkey is on the menu.

I'm a bit concerned as to where my protein is coming from.

I agree with Simone - an odd egg would be nice but I may try eating lots of veg. I'm not a keen fruit lover to be honest.

Kohler,

Two things- I think allergies to wheat etc
are just another layer that has to be
addressed for homeopathic cure. I have
been studying Dr.Yurkovsky MD homeo
that is probably not going to interest you
to go that in depth, but bottom line he
is saying there are big 'bullet' points as
he calls them, that are not being looked
at- emf fields, toxins, vaccines etc that
weaken the system and then these other
things happen. However people that work with him
have to go on strict diets etc etc to clean up their
system, along with Homeomeds, to address them
and what organs are weak from the toxic environment.
We cannot get rid of the toxic stuff held in our tissues
unless the elimination system is up to a good level-
the kidneys, liver, and intestines. So they have to
be addressed, then toxins released, or else toxins
move to organs before the organs can handle it.

That dr. and other MD's have said do not shock the body- do not just go on some total different diet.
Do your best. I would eat the chicken and turkey
and try to have more vegetables and fine tune this.
I went vegetarian and I started having problems bc
I was not getting enough protein a day- I was going
to have to have a couple protein shakes - look up
how many grams of protein you need a day. I went
back to a less severe diet and felt better.

As a stomach skin and hair specialist I can only advise you what I have learnt for the past thirty years. Of course it is up to you if you wish to follow my advice. I am withdrawing myself from your case. All the best.

santinosharma last decade
Since this is a thread about diet, I am going to post something about your
case on your case thread.
