The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Constipation, Sluggish Bowels.

My child is 3.5 years old. He has a sluggish bowel movement and does not feel the gut. He can not pass stool for days after which it gets hard and black. He responds well to laxatives but not for long. He is bathroom trained for urine but not stool apparently due to irregular/slow stool passing and lack of urge. His over-all health is good except he is towards lesser weight within normal limit and have a comparatively shorter structure than other children of his age. Eating habits are normal. He is a happy child but weak eye sight with a squint in left eye. Has a history of intestinal worms. I have tried Nux and Chamomilla. Can anybody please help?

Thanks Dr Nawaz but I don't think a 3.5 years old child can provide his nature of work for living and educational qualification, sorry.

I have provided details in my post and that's all I have right now.

Can anybody help with this please?

One must ignore N. A. Q's as the time does not permit to custom made Q's for each child.

How about these Q's?
5. weight
6. Height ….
7. country
8. climate
9. List of your complaints

The data is required to arrive at a correct remedy. But, you are being very smart and not really caring for the 3.5 years old. There are Child laws in the U. S. I don't know where are you from? I really feel sorry for you as you are self-prescribing, not knowing that these remedies are very powerful with serious side effects.
You must take the child to doctor immediately, face to face, be a good mom.

Age: 3.5 years
Weight: 11kg/ 25pounds
Height:94cm/ 37 inches
Country: Pakistan
Climate: Mostly hot.
Complaint: Child doesn't feel the urge to pass stool. It does not pass for days until I give him some laxative like Skilax. I have tried Nux, Pulsatilla and Chamomilla. Only Chamomilla worked but only to the extant of small stool three or four times a day but no proper evacuation.

His over-all health is good except he is towards lesser weight within normal limit and have a comparatively shorter structure than other children of his age. Eating habits are normal. He is a happy child but weak eye sight with a squint in left eye. Has a history of intestinal worms that is resolved for some time now. Can anybody please help?

Hi- Nawaz needs more info to study
the case so he can pinpoint a very accurate remedy for
your child. The more info the better.:-)

9. list of complaints-constipation-
when did that start? Anything going on around that time
that you remember? moving, changing preschool,
getting frightened by something?
Squint-when did that start? what was going on around
that time, if anything?
10.He is a happy child. Can you say anymore about his
personality? Is he affectionate and clingy, or independent
and does things on his own? How does he react if
he is told No? Cry, throw a tantrum, sulk, ignore you
or? Talk more about him, how do you
think he is different than other kids?
11.Does anything make the squint better, or anything
make it worse?
12. does anything help him move his bowels better,
or anything that makes it even worse?
13. What are his desires in food? What does he like
the best? What does he hate?
14. What kind of weather does he do best in?
is he afraid of storms? is he happier when he is in
wet weather, cool weather, or???
15. Do any foods increase the bowel problem?
Do any foods, increase the squint problem?
16.How is his thirst? very thirsty,
does not care and gets dehydrated or
??
17. When did the worms problem start? What was the treatment for that?
When did it end? What kind of worms
were they?

thanks and best wishes for you and family. Nawaz
pays a lot of close attention to his cases and
may have a few more questions based on your
answers.
