16 month old cold and fever

My sixteen month old daughter woke up last night with a stuffy nose and then a couple of hours later she had a fever.

This morning she had a clear discharge and sneezing.

At about noon, her temperature was 100.8 under the arm. Her nose discharge is more greenish/white now.

I gave her belladonna and the temperature is now down to 99.8 three hours later.

She seems to be in a bit better mood--more chatty. But still seems sleepy and has had a couple of naps aleady (she usually takes one nap a day).

She has been drinking more fluids today than normal. Her eyes are watery from time to time.

I am wondering, does the belladonna work quicker than this if it is the right remedy? Or should I try ferrum phos?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Just want to add some symptoms now. At supper time, my daughter was kind of gasping for breath. I don't know if it was just trying to breathe and eat at the same time.

It seemed as though her breathing is accelerated but I'm having a hard time counting it since she won't stay with me long enough to get an accurate count.

She goes between being a little tired, sometimes listless and being playful and chatty.
