Canine Pyoderma/furunculosis

Hi. My dog is suffering from Deep Pyoderma/furunculosis. She is on antibiotic for the last two weeks without much effect. One homeopath I consulted prescribed Sulphur 200 C with Cal Carb 30 tintures each to be given twice a day. But she had a massive reaction ( she's on antibiotic) last night with an itch attack and vomiting. I wish someone could please help me on this as my dog is very miserable right now. Can I give her R87 with some additional medicine to relieve her from the constant itch and bleeding. Also, she has to be given antibiotic injections for 10 days starting this monday. Can homeopathic medicines be manipulated with the ongoing treatment. I hope someone could really help me out here.

Thanks

Naida

P. S. I'm adding a little info on Canine Pyoderma.

Hot spots, or superficial pyoderma, is an infection of the skin that results in hot spots on the surface of a canine's skin. The problem generally causes loss of hair, inflammation, pus and itchy skin. Dog's with hot spots will scratch, lick and bite their skin often mutilating the regions of infection. Dog's who are most susceptible to hot spots are those who have a past of allergies, ear infections, flea problems and grooming issues. Treatment for the animal includes washing with a mild soap or antiseptic and use of antibiotics and cortisone creams put on the sores and infected regions.

Bacterial folliculitis is the most common type of bacterial skin infection in the dog. The Staphylococcus intermedius bacteria, which is a normal resident bacteria of canine skin, can cause infection of the skin in some dogs. Current theories indicate that most dogs who develop the infection, particularly recurrent infections, have an underlying abnormality of their metabolic or immune systems. This form of pyoderma is a frequent complication of allergies, skin parasites (mites, fleas) and endocrine diseases, like hypothyroidism.  An idiopathic primary bacterial folliculitis is also seen in short-haired dogs.
