Overall remedies for a few things to

Hello all,

I am a 40 year old female with type II diabetes. I know cinnamon can help but I am wondering what constitutional makeup and remedies can help me.

I took another online survey and got these as the result.

Your Homeopathic Constitution most likely is: PHOSPHORUS (Score 66) 2nd came in: ARSENICUM (Score 55) 3rd came in: LYCOPODIUM (Score 47)

But I am wondering what else to take.

40 year old female - whilm's tu.mor survivor - 37 years can can.cer free - had surgery to remove my left kidney and subsequent rad.iation and che.mo - resulted in slight scoliosis and early onset menopause (aka infertility early too).

I have a slight depression and anxiety that are made worse in the winter - and my worst time of day is 4-6/8 pm and in the mornings if I don't get up right away and into a routine.

I am looking to help myself overall with mood and diabetes II. Is there a remedy that focuses on pancreas and kidney?

Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take a single dose of Lycopodium 200 and see how that affects in next 15 days.

You should not take Phosphorus and arsenic alb for the time being. You should decide about the remedy to be taken later on the basis of your response to Lycopodium.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

It is not so that a single dose of Lycopodium will regularize your diabetes. It will affect you overall in the long run and may need a series of doses at long intervals or other remedies too. You should take appropriate measures to control your diabetes.

Firstly, using computer programs to find your own remedy is a terrible idea. That will fail almost every time. The process of coming to the right remedy requires:

* a proper case being taken with all the information a homoeopath needs gathered

* the correct symptoms need to be drawn out of that case, since not all the symptoms in the case are useful for a homoeopath. This means understanding the difference between a common and a peculiar symptom.

* those symptoms need to be translated correctly into rubrics. The repertory contains many similar-seeming rubrics, but the differences between them are important. It is also important to make sure you are not over-weighting symptoms by choosing several rubrics that all mean the same thing with the same remedies in it. This will artificially weight the case towards particular remedies and you will get lost.

* the symptoms then need to be put in the correct order, keeping in mind the natural hierarchy of symptoms of the mind and body. Remedies that score more at the top than the bottom, will be more likely to succeed than remedies that score more at the bottom.

* finally, once a selection of remedies has been brought to your attention, you need to consider the state of the remedy and match it to the state of the patient. Perceiving your own state is next to impossible - it is an objective examination of the person that almost nobody can do on themselves. Try reading through a materia medica and tell me how many remedies you think sound like you - you will see then how hard it is to know what your 'truth' is.

Secondly, homoeopathy doesn't use organ remedies in that way. We use the symptoms, the peculiar individual aspects of a person's health/disease to prescribe. Everyone has a pancreas and a kidney. Nobody can choose a remedy for organs like that, as every remedy can help those organs.

You really need to present a full case here so that a practitioner can help you. The information given so far is so scanty as to be of no use. Look through the other threads on this forum to see what information people are providing, and do the same.

It appears that someone is willing to go ahead and prescribe on this information regardless. I wish you good luck in your search for health.
