Assistance--Surgery to take place in 4 days.

Hello everyone,

This is my first time to your site.

I am delighted to find this site and would appreciate any insight you may have.

I have a 11 year old male dog, a chow/cocker spaniel mix.

I saw the vet today because he has a growth next to his anus that bleeds often (spot bleeding). The bleeding is from what looks like a wart or a little bump about an inch adjacent to his anus.

The vet said he had a ruptured anal gland and it was not too bad but said it would be good to remove part of it to prevent future problems. He also has a sist at the base of the tail close to the anus but no problems with that.

I am curious if removal of this anal gland is necessary or an alternative approach would help without the need for surgery.

If surgery is needed what would help my dog recover faster after it?

Would using arnica, calendula gel on the incision, acidophilus help and if so where to purchase this?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated and thank you all in advance!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is a fair degree of certainty that the proper use of Thuja would avoid the op.

But if you must , then use Bellis per 30c twice a day for three days after the Op.

Thank you walkin for your prompt reply! Regarding the Thuja, what form, potency, size would you suggest? How often and how would I administer this?

I am new with homeopathics. Again, Thank You for your support and assistance!
