13 year old dog - advice
HI there,This is for another assignment case.
I have a 13 year old dog.
Chronic nasal discharge for the last 6 months it is:
- clear
- thin
- slimy
-constant
- stringy
- sometimes blocks up
- sneezes every day.
- runs and he is licking his snout all the time
it has been flushed by the vet here at work - nothing found but snot build up.
He also COUGHS
- possible heart affections with
- dry
- hacking
- wheezing sounds
- coughs every day
Hypothyroid
- has a slightly low thyroid level
Very very hungry and very thirsty.
Kidney levels all fine.
ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT :)

Sulphur 200 followed by Calc Carb 200 should help in a real case.
Calc Carb seems to be indicated on the basis of symptoms. Sulphur for his huge hunger and also a king remedy for starting chronic cases.
If you go to a modern homeopath, he will say that there is an element of calcarea and also an element of sulphur so the remedy is calc sulph.
Now it is your assignment at the forum to write down the characteristics for Sulphur and Calcarea for this case.
