dry skin
dear dr kadwa,my daughter aged 9yrs is having very dry skin behind her thighs, starting just from the end of her buttocks to the back of her knee. the skin is very dry n she scratches it. also her lips r very dry n appear as if skin is peeling from lips. kindly suggest some medicine dr. thank you.

thank you dr. kindly tell me whether all the 6 pills r to be given together and whether after food or before food. and if instead of tablets i get the liquid than what is d dose?

Please give her the remedy for only 2 days and see how that affects in next 10-15 days.
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

i did nt understand properly , plz tell me whether the pills r to b given 2-2-2 ( i.e 3 times a day) for 2 days? since it is said 6 pills. thank you.

The person who said 6 pills every day is not me. i agree with his remedy but don't agree with his dosing.
So you should give her remedy in the morning and evening for 2 days.

Can you please give the following information in respect of your daughter.
1.whether she prefers warm surroundings ie whether she likes to be covered or she prefers cold surroundings and open air.
2.whether she has a mild disposition or an irritable disposition. How is her attitude towards her friends and relatives?
3.What other physical problems, if any does she have.
4.At what time she feels better and at what time does she feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.
5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting her problems.
6.How is her thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?
7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.
8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

1) she prefers warm surroundings. she likes open air too but cannot bear too much cold.
2) she gets irritated easily. attitude towards everybody is nice but if anybody does something she gets irritated. eg - shes watching tv n somebody is telling her something she gets irritated.
3) no other problem - but sometimes she complains of knee pain.
4) its d same all the time.
5) none. but first i was thinking that she was getting the rash when she seats on the toilet seat ( western).
6) thirst is good . she likes to have all other drinks cold but water she prefers hot.
7) normal.
8) she likes to move around.

thank you dr. i forgot to mention one thing that she is very sensitive n cries very easily.
dr i would like to know about the restrictions while taking homeopathic medicine. like no coffee, is it throught while taking treatment or just some hours before n after the medicine. thank you dr.

The restrictions may be observed only for few hours in the case of Sulphur.

gave her sulphur 30 for 3 days. she is still saying that her skin (back of her thigh). where the rash is, is scratching her but can see that it is dried up but it is like big dry patches on both d sides. plz let me know d further treatment. thank you.
