Skin rashes

My daughter is 6 years old and quite petite.
She has a poor appetite and eats quite less. She is around 42 inches tall and weighs around 34 pounds. She has itchy rashes in her arm and leg skin folds. I have tried several creams but with little to no success. Also, she bites her teeth at night.
Other signs: she likes warm drinks and warm weather.

Please suggest what can I do to help with her rashes, poor appetite and teeth biting.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You have described her physically please also describe her nature and behaviour
also please tell how the rashes bother her, how does she cope with the rashes
anything that is very peculiar about her nature

Dr. yogesh,
Here s some more info on my daughter:
Nature wise she is a very happy and intelligent girl. She behaves mature than her age and is mostly cooperative with her sister. She does sometimes get angry, but reasoning out resolves the problem.
As for her rashes, she has told me that the rashes get itchy a few times during the day. The itch is not constant all day, but it comes and goes. She ends up itching them really bad. She likes eating salty foods more than sweet foods, like warm drinks instead of cold. She also bites her teeth at night and has a poor appetite.
I apply BOROLINE on her rashes twice a day and that seems to help a bit.
Let me know if you need any more info.
Thank you.

Dr. Yogesh,
To add to my previous post, my daughter also has a lot of noticable facial hair on her upper lips and her forehead. Because of this she has been teased at school, that upsets her a lot.

what does she say about being teased at school
what does she think about her facial hair?

She has come back from
school with a comment that she has a mustache and she asked me if she really has one. Boys in her class and sometimes even girls have made this comment. She has also asked me, if I can clean it for her. But I am just not sure if this is the right age to do it. She is just 6. I just told her that mom loves her and she should not get upset about what others say. But I am not sure if I was able to convince her.
As for her mature behavior, her sister has a stubborn attitude, so she gives her the first chance most of the times to avoid tears. She loves helping me in kitchen, laundry that is too much for her age. She writes stories all by herself about family, love and animals.

Her sister is younger than her or elder than her?

She has a twin sister, 15 minutes older to her.

Simran,
Give her a single dose of 3-4 drops of Calcarea Carb 30C dilution in 15-20ml of water to be taken on empty stomach in the morning.
Give such doses on three consecutive days then stop dont repeat.

Dr.
Is there a restriction on, for how long after she can eat. Also, does the medicine has to be taken after brushing her teeth or before ? Are there any other food restrictions for three days when she will be taking the medication?
Let me know.
Thank you.
Simran.

Also doctor, I went to the homeopathy store near my home but they only have Calcarea Carb 30 c in pellets form. They do not carry the liquid. Please suggest, what can I do in this case.

Dr. Yogesh,
I am still waiting to hear from you about the liquid to pellet conversion for my first daughter I talked about.

Now, here is what is going on with her twin sister. Again, she just turned 6, has a very shy nature. She is hesitant to talk in front of other people and lets her sister do all the talking. She is also very sensitive and cries a lot over little things. Once she starts crying it takes a long time to calm her down. She seems to have less energy compared to kids if her age and gets tired too soon.
From around the age of 2, her gets bleedings from her right nostril. The doctors have also told me that she has big tonsils. She gets a cold very easily and once she gets it, she stays stuffy for weeks. Also, for the last couple of months she has been getting a series of sneezes ( may be 20 in a row) every morning and sometimes during the day too. With her sneezes she brings out a lot if white mucous from her nose. She doesn't sound stuffy but the heavy mucous is still there. She also rubs her eyes a lot and her eyes have some yuck in them sometimes in the mornings.
Dr. Yogesh please suggest what can I do for her.
Thank you.
Simran.

Dr. Yogesh,
Here are my own health issues too.
I am 36 years old, married and a working women. I have twin girls (as you know by now from my previous posts). I normally used to have regular headaches, especially around my periods. I started having migraines episodes early last year. I got more and more sensitive to bright light and loud sound. Many a times, just going out during the day starts a migraine. Then for the last 6-8 months I have had a STIFF NECK issue. My muscles on the left side of my neck are very stiff all day long. Because of this I feel a stretch on the left side of my body starting from head to toe all day. It hurts and is very uncomfortable. Also, I feel that I have less energy to start my day in the morning and also during the day. Due to all this, I lose my patience very quickly with my kids.
Also, I have borderline high cholesterol.
Please suggest what can I do to take care of all of these issues.
Thank you so much and I appreciate your help.
Simran.

Dr. Yogesh,
Thank you for your reply.
Daughter 1 with rashes: can the pellets be taken directly or should they be dissolved in water? I will start the pellets tomorrow morning and report back on Tuesday.

Daughter 2: These days she is still sneezing in the mornings with a lot of mucous. For more than a year, whenever she talks, I can hear that the clarity of her speech is low because of some stuffiness. Last year, even her school teacher pointed out that she has to talk louder for my daughter to hear. We got her ears checked but everything came back normal. Seems like her stuffiness is linked to her hearing too.

Nature wise she was a very peaceful, happy baby and toddler. Her sppech was also delayed ( started speaking around 3), and since then she has developed a very dull, sad, crying personality. She seems to have less energy compared to her sister all the time. She shows a lethargic attotude whenever asked to do anything. Tjat worries me since a 6 year old should be full of energy. She plays the role of a follower than a leader. May be she is conscious of her speech and she is shy anyway. Also, her jawline has come out higher than normal.

Hello Dr. Yogesh,
As per your rcommendation I have given my daughter 3 days of Calcarea Carbonica 30C , 5 pellets by mouth in the morning. Her eczema has calmed down more than 75%, but she has told me that it still itches. Also her appetite has not changed at all. She has complained of having a stomachache for the last 3 nights, which is kind of new.
Also, I am worried that once we stop the medication , what do I need to do if her eczema returns. Please recommend.

Dr. Yogesh,
My 1st daughter's name is Priya. She is the one with skin rashes and eczema, who took 3 days dose of cal area carbonica. She has been rather on the sensitive side over the last 3 days, with crying episodes here and there. Also, her stomach ache was during the afternoon on all 3 days.
Also, she sweats a lot normally, even while sleeping. She sleeps on her back and her dress gets soaking wet many a times. She also vomitted some of her mango shake out this morning. Whenever she eats, after a few bites she starts rubbing her belly. She is still grinding her teeth at night after 3 days of medication.

My 2nd daughter's name is Astha. She is a very stubborn girl. I cannot make her do anything if she does not want to do it. Her life runs on her conditions. She hardly ever sweats. Also she has very poor and thin hair quality. She also has some hair on her forehead. These days she is still sneezing in the mornings with a lot of mucous.

Her right nostril bleeds many a times and she gets stuffy easily. She also sneezes a lot in the mornings with heavy mucous mostly from her left nostril. She also snores while sleeping. She cries over little things and it gets hard to calm her down. She gets sad very quickly.
Let me know doctor if you need more info. before you can prescribe some treatment for her.

Dr. Yogesh,
Also to add more info on Priya. She is again very itchy in her arm folds today (august 7, 2012) around 10 am and I saw some new bumps appearing. Then the itch subsided after half an hour. Then again she was itchy on her legs around 8 pm. Also she has been really moody today and getting upset and crying over little things.

Lately, for the last month or so, her palms get blisters on holding anything for too long. For example, she was holding a book today for 20 minutes, and a blister appeared.

Please suggest.

Simran,
You can repeat a single dose of Calcarea Carb to priya.
Give silicea 30 to astha same way as you gave it to priya.
Report back
Next time I'll focus on your case sorry for the delay but I like to be focussed

Dr .Yogesh

Thank you for your quick reply Dr. Yogesh.
I will repeat Priya's single dose of Calcarea Carb tomorrow morning.

Just to clarify, I should give Astha 5 pellets of Silicea 30 for 3 days on empty stomach in the morning. Are there any signs or changes I should be looking for during the course of medicine? Also, to add about Astha that she has BIG TONSILS.

Let me know.
Thank you for following through.
I really appreciate it.

Hello Dr. Yogesh,
I wanted to give you updates on both my kids.
1) Priya- gave her a dose of Calcarea Carb 30c today morning. She was again very moody today, with tears at times. She also told me that she was really hot and sweating. I noticed this last time I gave her the medicine, that her body was quite hot on those days. Today again, in the evening her eczema rashes were itchy and I noticed some red bumps so I had to rub BOROLINE and vaseline.
I am really concerned if her eczema will return after we stop the medicine. The skin appears really dry on the outside.

Astha- gave her the first dose of silicea 30 c this morning. No noticable change till now.

Also, doctor is there a homeopathic treatment for removing facial hair. Both my girls have noticable hair on forehead, upper lip, arms and legs. Priya is getting really concerned about it as her school year is about to start. Astha talks about it, but did not express a big concern.
Please suggest.
Simran.
