urticaria during pregnancy (20weeks)

Hi,
Got a big problem with urticaria during pregnancy. I am at 20 weeks now.
Had a diagnosis from several years ago: chronic urticaria but reason was never found:-( (probably stress). Had it for around 2 years for 2 years ago then it had dissapeared by itself.
Sympoms: swollen fingers (can be whole hand), rashes come also on stomach, legs (under the feet mostly), around eyes, scalp, breast. Seems like they come more at places where clothes sit close/tight to the body or when sweating. Rashes look like raised, itchy bumps (raised areas surrounded by a red base) with the higher temperature that other parts of the body, can get into big patches. It can hold from few hours till few days (worse at nights) then it comes on a new place. It's itching a lot and burning like after touching nettle.Sometimes strong stomach pain appear when heavy rashes come.
Got cortisone (Betapred) treatment for 1 week from my doctor- but it's very very bad to take it during pregnancy and rashes come back as soon as I stop taking cortisone. That is why I want to switch to homeopathic medicine instead. I am from Sweden and here we don't have a good practice with homeopathy that is why I need help from abroad. Please suggest me something that can help and be non harmful for my baby!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try Antimonium crudum in 30c. Take one or two pills twice a day for 3 days. Observe changes over a week and report.

Thanks for fast reply!
I will try to buy it (can take few weeks). I have read mostly about Urtica Urens. What do you think? I have already purchased Apis Mellifica, Pulsatilla and Nux Vomica. Anything good for me? Specially during pregnancy?
Thanks a lot again:-)
P.S. Have checked for Antimonium crudum- doesn't really fits much (I don't have a 'white' tongue and I am very social person and never have problems with meeting ppl, touching etc.). I am a scientist and because of my scientific nature, would appreciate if you can write more what is the medicine and why it fits me. Thanks!

Since you asked if there's anything good for pregnancy, i'm putting a questionnaire for you. If you can answer them it'd be easy to suggest remedies for the pregnancy to be smooth.

1) Family Medical History:

c) What are the things, which aggravate your suffering and which are those, which make you feel better? Example- time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing, movement, climate, music, consolation, thunderstorm, exam or other important events, smell, noise, light etc. Are you worse on any particular side of the body ?

type, clots, sensations etc if there are any?

If Menopause—headaches/flushes/sweats/dryness/mood swings/memory?

1) Family Medical History:

Father/Mother: No chronical deseases

Grandparents(Maternal and paternal): Grandmother (paternal) had some ekseme on her hands when she was young (3 times). Then it never came back.

Brother: no allergies or diseases

2) Patient's Medical History: (Include vaccination history and the
reactions to them if any):hepatitis A and B, TBS, Flu, poliomyelitis- no reactions

Major illnesses(Chronologically): chronic urticaria

Operations(if any chronologically): no

Present medication: cortisone

Previous medication: cortisone

3) a) Present your Complaints in order of priority: Itching and burning scratches over the whole body, increased temperature.

b) Can you connect these complaints to any other events? What was going on in your life personally, physically, emotionally, socially, environmentally when the complaints came on? First time I got it for 4 years ago after I came from vacation (Greece) where I was swimming and taking sunbath a lot. The strange thing was that I got wart on my hand after few days . The week after vacation my allergy started. First my scalp was itching for few months then it came on other parts of the body. Few times I was at emergency due to swollen eye and lip. I was also under a lot of stress related to my family problems with my partner (which the doctors later said was a reason for my allergy).

c) What are the things, which aggravate your suffering and which are those, which make you feel better? Example- time, temperature, pressure, rubbing, washing, eating, tight clothing, movement, climate, music, consolation, thunderstorm, exam or other important events, smell, noise, light etc. Are you worse on any particular side of the body ?
worse: tight clothing, stress, sweat
good: relax, washing, cold

4) Physical Profile:

Colour of hair: brown
Colour of eyes: green
Skin: very white
Height:165cm
Weight:65kg
Nails:can grow long, white

5) Mental Profile: quite strong but when get nervous difficult to come down.

a) Describe yourself in your own words: I know what I want, self-confident, happy now, pregnant, very social, easy to go with.

b) Any grief, broken relationship, any anger/resentment against anybody, any fears, any phobias? My previous relation was unhappy, caused a lot of stress plus at the same time had some complication at work. Now I am calm, have a family and not working. So, I would say, no reason to get stressed.

c) Do you have any strange, peculiar or unusual symptom or feelings? How are you different from others? NO

6) a) If Female:

Age of Puberty: 15
Cycle of periods: 28days, regular, almost no pain, little flow, can be irritated. I took birth control peels for 6 years before but stopped for 4 years ago.

Pregnancy problems—
Number of pregnancies:1, having urticaria

Any problem with intercourse? NO

8) What do you crave for in food items and in general and what are your aversions in food items and in general? I am meat lover but now when I am pregnant eating almost no meat.I like vegetables and fruits very much. Feels like citruses cause more rashes on the body- had to stop eating them.

9) Describe your thirst and hunger? average (can eat too much when very hungry)

10) Describe your sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
Are there any Recurring or significant dreams? I sleep quite bad- wake up several times a night. I am dreaming a lot especially about my previous problems in relationship and in general any problems that are present at that time (very sensitive).

11) Describe about discharges (colour/odour/consistency)? sweat (Mostly sweat underarm, on hands and feet. In general sweat more than others)
stool: had constipation all my life but now with pregnancy I don't have any problem
urine: normal

12) what is your preference—in climate, weather?
I like sun and dry weather but when I get rashes I like cold shade well ventilated places.

13) Other details you want to say or if there are any peculiar things going on in your physical or emotional plane.
Now, when I got urticaria again, I don't feel like I am specially stressed but pregnancy itself can be stressful for the body. I feel happy and calm now compared to the previous time I had urticaria. I haven't been sick or something now during pregnancy.

Thanks for the answers. Please get Arsenicum alb. in 200c. Take one dose and report changes in a week.

P.S: Ant. crud. was chosen for your symptoms you gave before. Still i think, it's a good remedy for urticaria in your case. Lack of white tongue or you being social does not contraindicate this. But after going through your other answers i think a polycrest like ars. is better as a frontline remedy.
