hyperalgesia/allodynia connected with facial hair and shaving

Hello

Here is a tricky question: I suffer from abovementioned problems and they are often connected to shaving and facial hair.

When I dont shave and let the beard grow, I get tingling first on the face, then all over the body. But, when I shave, I get burning all over the face and the all over the body - this reaction is usually delayed (2-6 hours).

I guess the medical term for this would be neuropathy, hyperalgesia, hyperpathia or allodynia.

The sensations are: burning, tingling, hypersensitive skin, stinging etc.

I dont want to take any chemical meds, any ideas which homeopathic remedies might help? Thanks!!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
'Cutaneous Allodynia' might be the most correct term for this.

Please take a dose of Belladonna 200 after shaving and see how it affects.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine. Please don't take coffee one hour before or after the remedy.

thanks

i forgot to mention that there is also a lot of itching and pruritus going on all over the body... does that change what might work?

If itching is always there you should take three doses of Sulphur 200 at a gap of 12 hours and see how that affects in next 15 days. Meanwhile you may take Belladonna after shaving if you get reaction.

If itching starts only after shaving sulphur is not needed.
