Black Vomit - Advice Request

Hello,

My uncle is in his Mid 70's and has been checked into a local hospital for UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)about a month ago. He experienced diarrhea, vomiting, and a fever. He was discharged after a few weeks, however, is back in the hospital with more diarrhea and vomiting. We have noticed that both his vomit and stool are black in colour. He has been on IV consistently. will pro biotics help? is there any specific homeopathic medication you can recommend?

Thanks,

Shah.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Black vomit and stools indicate that the patient is bleeding somewhere in the gut and it is up to the doctors to diagnose the location of the bleeding and take IMMEDIATE steps to STOP this bleeding.
