The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Severe Cystic Acne

I have a very large cystic zit. The surface is about the size of a pencil eraser but under the skin there is a large hard 'rock' that is not quite the size of a U.S. dime coin. This one has been present for about 10 days.

I also have a second zit just starting to come up as well. It is not visible on the surface, but it has a small 'rock' underneath as well and is starting to become painful.

To give you a little background, I began taking sulphur 30c due to a razor burn rash under my armpit a couple of weeks ago. The sulphur started causing me to express all sorts of things. I started to have mild shortness of breath, which has since stopped. There was lots of burping, which is not normal for me, but that has also stopped. Eczema on my scalp and ears flared up horribly for several days then disappeared. There is still some eczema in the ear canal that has not quite worked its way out but is getting better.

Then I had tiny whiteheads/comedones show up on on my chin and jawline, as well as the center of my chest between and on inside of my breasts. A couple of these developed into small pimples, but quickly went away on their own. The rest of the tiny whiteheads either went away on their own or I used an esthetician's tool to extract the whitehead.

These two zits are exactly where there were two of the whitehead/comedones (that came to the surface taking the sulphur) were that I could not extract with an esthetician's tool.

Interestingly I read in Kent's lectures regarding the affinity of sulphur for coal miners, and felt that I might be expressing a miasm from my great grandfather. He was a coal miner for 50 years and died from black lung.

I have tried hepar sulph. for several days and it rapidly increased the size of the 'rock' from the first zit. It was much smaller to start with. Hepar has worked well for me in the past. In this case it seems to be making it worse.

I have also been using bentonite clay masks on the area of the first zit. After removing the dried clay, I will sometimes get a drop or two of pus expressed from the zit, and sometimes a drop or two of blood. This has given me some pain relief and a small reduction in size.

I have also just come off of prozac after 18 years within the past month, most likely due to healed mercury toxicity. This may not be relevant, but I thought I should include it.

Any help would be appreciated, as I am at a loss for what to do next to help this heal.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I think perhaps I may have stumbled on the proper remedy. I took a dose of Silicea 30c and the 'rock' has shrunk a couple of hours later on the larger of the two.

Now it is about the size of the tip of my index finger (and I have relatively small fingers). There were some pointy parts of it that were reaching out away from the 'rock,' but I can no longer feel them.

The bump on the skin appears to be flattening a bit, and the jawline that did appear a bit distorted due to the swelling now seems to be returning to normal.

I think the smaller one may be shrinking but it is difficult to tell. The pain seems to be less for both and perhaps a little less hot to the touch.

You should take a look at photos of before and after
acne on drrayshomeo dot com ( India homeopath) you
might want to try online treatment for total cure for him.

Silicea has strong effects on pus formations etc- but you
need supervision to get at the root of this.

I am not promoting that dr. I was looking up something
else- lot of photos of the cured acne tho.

His prices are pretty reasonable. It might be worth checking with him to see. There are a lot of issues I am working through, but I am determined to do it without pharmaceutical drugs. Just nutrition, herbs, and homeopathy.

Kallie,

some homeopaths are very very good at certain issues,
this dr. looks impressive regarding the acne-
I would go for it- bc in my experience, don't go
reinvent the wheel when you see someone seems
expert at something-use their talent in that area-
it saves a lot of time and wandering about. Try it and
please give feedback on here about your experience.

Or you can email me, the experience/results bc I like
to help people connect with people on or off forum
who can solve the patients problem.Cured cases
are a big deal in homeopathy.

Thanks Simone, I really appreciate it. Homeopathy really is a godsend. I finally turned to it once I realized that all the allopathic medicine was just making me sicker and sicker in so many ways with no end or hope in sight.

We don't have any homeopaths at all where I live so I started reading Boericke and Kent myself until it started making sense. I've had really great results with it, recovering from lots of things the allopaths told me were incurable and genetic. Shows what stinkin' allopaths know.

I would love to find someone who specializes in working out the miasms and recovering from chronic abuse of allopathic medicines.

Kallie,

Everything is connected to everything- you don't know
what else may clear, clearing the acne. If there is
one thing I have learned from this forum is go
step by step-don't get ahead of yourself and work
with what is presenting itself to you in the present
moment and the rest will unfold in due time.
