eustachian tube blocked
My daughter is 9 years old. When she was 3 and 4 years old she had many otitis.Now her hearing is impaired. The audiogram shows a reduction of hearing in the right year.
The tympanogram also shows that behind the eardrum is liquid that doesn't allow air in the Eustachian tube.
The ENT doctor tried various antibiotics, antyhistamins and even chortizon but no result.
The hearing problem is old from 2007.
We are scheduled for tubes in the ear drum next months.
Can you please help me with a homeopathic advice for this problem?

I am back again with a problem: I can't find calc sulph 200 in Romania, only 30 C?
Is iy OK to give 2 pills Calc Sulph 30C in the morning ? Or shoul I give her less?

I have started calc sulph, today it's the third day.
Yesterday morning and this morning she complained of pain in the right ear.
Not too bad, not pulsating.
Just a constant pain.
It lasted for about half an hour.
It started when we got out in the fresh and a little cold air.
Could this be the effect of pills?

You can use Aconite 30 during the pain. Please continue with Calc Sulph 30. It will help to drain the pus/liquid.
If the pain continues even after giving Aconite, we can review again.

Just a personal experience...over last couple of weeks I was suffering from same problem and one phrase to express my agony 'it was killing me'. On this forum also, some people tried to help (thanks to all of them) but I was looking for a quick relief and after a long strenuous search work found that Kali Mur is the best possible remedy. You just google these key words 'eustachian tube Kali Mur'...you will get a long list of websites. I started Kali Mur 6X on 29th August and today my problem is 90% improved. Hope this is not just a remission.

Monjum06, you can safely add Kali Mur 6x to the existing medicine you are taking. Kali Mur 6x, 3 tablets, 2 to 3 times a day can accelerate the recovery.

After a lot of search work on internet I found that Kali Mur is the best remedy for dulled hearing and discomfort caused by catarrh and swelling of the Eustachian tube. So I took it 5-6 times a day along with Ferrum Phos 6X intercurrently as an assistant of Kali Mur and these two medicines have helped me a lot. I am sorry I forgot to mention it in my previous post. People who are suffering from Eustachian tube problem may try this duo. Wish health and comfort for those people who are suffering from this problem. Now I have known that it is such a problem that mentally kills the sufferers. If these already has started to cause depression and sleeplessness, one may add Kali Phos 6X to the above-mentioned regimen, at least I did it and that helped me to reduce my depression.

Thank you for sharing your entire story. It will be very interesting to know if ever FP and KM triggered your depression (even if previously present). What makes you beleive FP/KM has anything to do with depression (which I have never experienced with my patients). Can you please describe more?

As I had been suffering from the problem for a couple of weeks, the depression and despair were persistent since before and that is why I took Kali Phos as a general nerve stimulator and anti-depressive. I continued with Ferrum Phos as a supporter and Kali Mur as the key player. And thanks God, I am considerably better now and quite happy with my progress.

1. Kali Mur-6x 2 pallets, 2 times a day. These pellets help in thinning the mucous, thereby enabling its easy flow out.
2. Merc Dulcis-30C, 2-3 Drops twice a day in half a cup water. These drops reduce inflammation of the mucous lining in entire respiratory system by removing Infection. These drops work within 10 minutes to clear ear pain and fluids.
Avoid food 30 min before of after.Pl keep 30-40 minutes gap between 1 and 2.
Pl give feedback after 15 days
