Hello everybody,I am a regular user of this forum and I think this is a great platform. There is something I would like to share with all of you.
There are several medicines in Homeopathy but there is remedy I would like to mention here, i.e. NIGELLA SATIVA (Kalonji).
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has called KALONJI as the remedy of all diseases except death.
But I would like the doctors to prescribe proper usage of this remedy for different diseases.

lists research and use for cardio, diabetes, asthma , liver , kidneys and on and on.
Another site is nigella sativa dot org that has most things written about it from
everywhere. It is in the bible, in Ancient roman materia medica, the Greeks used it,
the egyptians used it and more.
I saw Homeovision site that has provings has a proving on there but it is in German
only- Maybe if tiger spirit reads this she could translate. I was looking for Materia
Medica that has it and found the blessed sunnah site- Abc does not have it but
Helios and Remedia Pharm. have it.
Sankaran does not list it under his section on Ranunculaceae- he has--under there
Acute misam-Aconite
Typhoid miasm-helleborus niger
malaria miasm-Ran B
Sycotic-Pulsatilla
Tubercular-Cimicifuga racemosa
Leprosy Hydrastis canadensis
Syphlitic Clematis erecta
Thinking about mother tinctures- just saw a cup of Aconite tea was a method to
carry out death sentence in old days. Sankaran says people will act with
EQUANIMITY-to compensate for sensations of Ranunculaceae family such as-vexed ,
raw nerves, somatisation, passionate, brooding , tremors , shocks , guilt,
annoyance, irritation,stitching,stabbing, stinging and bursting , shock.
Opposite reaction- Numb, bluntness.

But it is great to see the comments from both Nawaz and you.
You mean Homeopathy does not have Nigella Sativa. So is it a related to ayurveda.

homeopathy HAS nigella sativa. you can buy it
from helios UK and can buy it from remedia Pharm
in Europe in many potencies.
I saw where some German homeopaths did a proving
on it- you can look up provings of remedies and that
is where they state what happened to the people
taking it- and that is how it gets into a materia medica.
It has to be in a materia medica, I don't know which one
though.
Dr. Sankaran has a huge book on plant remedies and
cases to do with each family of plants- I thought the
remedy might be in there bc the family of plants is
the Ranunculaceae- but he is not using it as a major
remedy in how he categorizes miasms.

He has 6 materia medicas on there- none of them have nigella sativa
in them. So you see most homeopaths are using these materia
medicas( especially Boericke which is the one Online here at ABC
remedies.)
Nigella Sativa is not going to come up as indicated bc it is not
IN the materia medica.
I don't know why that is being such a big folk medicine. So it seems
that the way it is sold homeopathically is that homeopaths use
the PROVINGS material of what went on when people took it and
then use that as basis to prescribe.
So you are not going to see this as a common prescription- bc I could
not even find a case published on it.
