Constitutional Remedy

I had read Homeopathic Psychology, and have read and worked with a Homeopath in the past.
It would appear I am a Nat Mur.
A few weeks ago, I wanted to see what taking a 1M would do.
I know...
After 1 1/2 of being sick, at first what I thought was an aggravation, and maybe was, I was still feeling unwell; tension, dryness, sensitivity in muscles, etc...I countered the remedy with strong mint drops and coffee.
Is there anything else I need to do? And does this sound like an aggravation or proving?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You should take a remedy in right potency on the basis of your overall symptoms now. It should also take care of Natrum Mur you have taken. It is advisable to wait for at least 3 weeks to see what Natrum Mur 1M does.

Thanks Kadwa, but I think I'm done with experimenting.
I just didn't want to feel worse, or get stuck.

As for that person...I don't know who that person is Simone.

I'm a Counselor and Massage Therapist in Texas, that because of past health problems has read, dabled and worked with many gifted healers in ht past.

I've nothing to hide =)
Cheers.

By the way I deduced Nat Mur based solely on the book I mentioned previously, Homeopathic Psychology...not on any physical symptoms, which I know is not how all of this works...but there it is.

Because this has all peeked my curiosity again.
Would taking a lesser dose of the Nat Mur help with the aggravation then?
Again if it is an aggravation...or proving.
Muscle tension especially in neck, but all over, feeling like dryness of muscles, brittle, dryness of mouth.
Tension in head.
My usual symptoms are minimal; some muscle tension, liver/gallbladder aching/pain, rumination, anxious personality, slender body type...not concave, but narrow chest, slender face.

google aggravation zapper by Elaine Lewis homeopath- you might try that.

You also might try getting a couple strong massages yourself like
Shiatsu type ( I had a couple people I know get prescribed too high
of Nat Mur and they did the massage and were back to 'normal')
after one massage.

You really cannot take your own case- not even homeopaths can-
you have to have an objective person going over all the mental and
physical symptoms and knowing which symptoms are weighted more
than other symptoms and what potency to start out on-

You are right of course...It just seemed so tempting. I had wanted to study Homeopathy at one time.
Thank you Simone!

I've read through your suggestion.
So it does seem like an aggravation then?
Interesting if nothing else. I will try this.
?The mint and coffee then. Does taking them sometimes help antidote, but not stop the benefits of the remedy like that described in the article, or do they stop the benefits as well? In the article it stated that this type of dilution will stop the aggravation and not the benefits.

Hi-
An aggravation is old things that are showing up you had before.

A proving is new things you NEVER had before.

Usually an aggravation or a proving don't last more than a week
or so. You said you took it weeks ago. So it seems to have changed
your overall state which is why Kadwa said - you must retake
your case, put in the mental and physicals you have in present
time and prescribe on that.

Coffee and mint are not listed as antidotes for Nat Mur-
arsenicum album is for some aspects and Phosphorus for others.

If you want fill out the form that you will see on any post by
Nawazkhan and list everything in present time- and get a
prescription for that- from someone on here. That is what Kadwa
meant and you can't do it on yourself- or go see a homeopath-
there are some good ones in Texas. I feel you need to have this
done and then don't prescribe for yourself again, unless it is
some acute minor thing.

I feel the aggravation zapper is for when the remedy is right but person is too
sensitive and it is a way to dim it down to where the body then can have
the benefits - of the remedy.(but you are way past that stage if you took it weeks ago.)click on remedies shop on forum and read the nat mur materia medica.

Thank you for this Simone, and for your time.
I may do the post.
It has been 2+ weeks, and these are old symptoms mostly.
Interestingly the coffee and mint helped, but not completely.

Finally do you suggest adding the answers to the form on this post or a new one?

I suggest you fill out the form and do a new post.

Don't ask for a 'constitutional remedy' bc it does not work
like that on here. People on here work on cure of your
present symptoms and then keep going with what else
shows up.

So you could have a headline - like one and half years of
'whatever' put in what you took and what is main thing
you want fixed and important about when each thing
started.

btw- if these are old symptoms showing up and seem
more intense than normal and NOT leaving, it actually seems
like you went too high with 1 m. That a lower potency was
needed to address the physicality of symptoms. Not saying
do this now!! but that is where you need to know potencies
and try a 30 c for couple days see what happens- if things happen then you stop and wait. etc-You can always move up-
and sometimes when up is required, then down is required
later-it all depends on your mental and physical present time
symptoms.

Thank you again Simone.
I'll wait another week, and then make a post depending on where I am...symptom wise.
