Sinus Congestion / No taste or Smell, Please Help
Hi,Can somebody please help me in my sinus congestion, feeling of heavy stuffiness in the head, no taste or smell, body aches, lack of energy mentally & physically? Lots of post nasal discharge, no nasal discharge. Don't sweat.

1. PRESENT COMPLAINTS
Severe nasal and head congestion. Loss of smell and taste, fluids in the ear. Lots of body aches all over the body. Also pain in left knee.
Sinus issue started about 6 or 7 years but has gotten worse progressively. Right now I can barely taste or smell anything. I feel stuffiness in my head. Eye sockets hurt frequently and my eyes have burning sensation all the time but it gets worse when I use computer or talk on the phone. After a long telephone conversation if I check my body temperature it is always 99F or more and then it gets better after a little while.
There is no nasal discharge, but heavy post nasal discharge more so in the early morning. On waking up I have headache on full head prefer to have elevated pillow due to headaches and post nasal discharge. The headaches are almost every morning, sometimes get better on their own & sometimes increase and have to take advil/Ibuprofen etc as a pain killer to control pain. Taking a warm shower helps to relieve the pain. When the headache increases there is throbbing pain in all over the head and the eye sockets. Inhaling steam/vapors help in temporarily relieving the congestion.
My congestion gets better when I walk outside and also upon drinking warm liquids. Overall low in energy and also depressive mood. Feeling of worthlessness. My hands and feet are cold, also my head feels cold almost all the time including in summer time. I like to be covered all the time. Congestion remains same when its summer or winter time. Get up frequently in the night to drink water because of dryness in mouth, need only a few sips. This happens only when congestion is too much.
Lately for last couple of years I am feeling pain in my joints and its getting worse day by day.
My left knee is hurting pretty bad especially when I walk I feel my bones are rubbing together; its also getting worse with the time. The elbow feels very weak and especially when carrying a weight or even talking on the phone.
My face is always pale even though I am not anemic. Energy level is very low; mentally and physically.
I am frequently and randomly getting small bluish marks / bruises on the legs and arms. Just in one day the bluish marks would become dark and then heal in a few weeks.
I have got my physical done by allopathic doctor and everything is fine, including BP, cholesterol etc.
2. PAST HISTORY
I had pretty healthy child hood. No major issues until now few years back till this congestion.
3. FAMILY HISTORY
Dad passed away from heart attack at the age of 53. He was suffering with hypertension all his life. Mom has high BP and also sinus allergies.
4. General
On slim side, face looks dull & pale. Facial skin has brown spots and sometimes more prominent than other times. Appetite is normal. Generally I prefer salty and spicy food. Sometimes I would say in every couple of months I get chalky feeling in my mouth but it gets better. Prefer warm food and warm drinks. Vegetarian, dont eat meat products. No food intolerances, normal thirst
Just have one bowel movement in the morning, for that I have to drink a cup of hot tea in the morning. Lately the first urine in the morning is very dark yellow as if taken a b-complex tablet the night before.
I dont sweat at all. Sleep ok but disturbed to get up and sip water frequently due to dryness in mouth, this is only when the congestion is too much.
5. Mental
Mentally I am very down. Nothing excites me. Just like to be alone. I used to be very social and friendly but not anymore. In fact, I prefer to be by myself.
6. Weather Here
The weather here is very hot, there is basically no winter. During winter time we just get cold waves from the North and then gets very cold & need heavy jackets but then after a few days we can be back in regular summer clothes without any sweaters. Since we are about 70 miles from seashore, it is very humid, so basically it is very hot and humid here. Usually the pollen count or allergens is high in the air / environment.

Please take three doses of Sanguinaria 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).
day 1 morning
1st dose
day 1 evening
2nd dose
day 2 morning

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Hi, I took Sanguinaria 200 single dose on Sep 20th.
The next day my throat was hurting, it is possible I may have picked up something from my husband, he had bad throat/running nose & fever... some viral or local bug. He became ok, but my throat really hurts on swallowing, hurts more so on the left side. I feel thirsty but throat hurts on drinking water. Body aches are there and it feels like I have fever but I don't have fever.
I took Phos 30 yesterday single dose on somebody's recommendation, hope it is ok. My throat still hurts same way today, no changes in any symptoms.
Please advise.
