Is it OK to take homeopathic remedy drops in tap water? Or is filtered/spring water necessary?

When you take a homeopathy remedy, does the water you put the drops in have to be filtered/spring water? Or can it be tap water? Does tap water completely prevent it from working? Please let me know.

I've been taking my remedy for a few weeks now with Brita filtered water but just realized I haven't changed my filter in a while, almost to the point where it might just be tap water at this point!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I don't think tap water prevents it from working.
I find tho that most people say to use mineral water,
or spring water for better effects.
