Does homeopathy work?
Hi,I am a student from Spain who is doing a project about homeopathy and I need to compare different points of view.Do you think that homeopathy is effective or is it just a placebo effect? Have you ever taken homeopathic medicine?I would like it if you could tell me about your experiences with homeopathy, thanks for your time!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I several times tried homeopathy on my dog & it worked much faster than it works on human being because animals' defence system is much stronger than us. Is there any chance of placebo effect on an animal? Also I mixed the medicine in his food.
Ok if you are still not convinced, then I can tell you the name of medicine & request you not to read any literature about that medicine; just take 3 doses of that medicine & write back about all that you felt after taking the medicine. I will then show you many other cases who have felt exactly same after taking that remedy. This could not be placebo because without reading any literature, you never know what will happen & how is it possible that all of you felt the same. Then after few days I will tell you another remedy & the effects will be different. Don't worry, the effect will be of temporary nature & will wear off in 2 days. Otherwise you also know that there is nothing poisonous left in the remedy so you should not be worried if you think homeopathy is just placebo.

Showing you success stories on this forum is useless IMO because people who come here to get help mostly believe in homeopathy & you can still say that they got well due to placebo. So best way is to experiment.

I didn't know exactly what this website was, I just found it and wrote on it. In any case, I never said it was a placebo effect, I was just asking for opinions, but thanks anyway. I'm willing to do this experiment because in my project I have to include a practical part, but I don't have much time because I have to deliver it in two weeks. Thank you!

Please take three doses of Calcarea Carb-30c in one day with a gap of 4-5 hrs& watch out for mental symptoms & feelings in the same day & next day.
1 dose = 3 drops of remedy in half cup of water OR put 4 pills directly on your tongue & chew/suck slowly.
Take any homeopathic remedy at-least 30min before or 30min after taking food.
As suggested earlier, don't read anything about this remedy & its effects.

This question 'Does Homeopathy work' is a big cliche and wrong on it's premises.
You need to read through threads to find out what sort of results can be produced by Homeopathy.

Hello Asad,
I've taken the three doses of Calcarea Carb 30 ch and I think this last day I've been more relaxed than usual without many worries and having more patience as well. Maybe I've felt this way because of the weekend, but if that is the effect of the pills I have to admit I'm pretty impressed and I think I'll continue taking them. If that wasn't the purpose of the pills I'm afraid I haven't felt anything else.

pills. Effects of homeopathic medicines if too much
medicine is taken? can produce the opposite effect and
other effects. Once you have a desired effect or old
symptoms showing up- the remedy is stopped and the vital force
of person does the work of clearing you.
Case in point' child who had croup cough. Parents bought
remedy Spongia ( often indicated in cough) and 'directions
on bottle said take 3 tablets 4 times a day. They gave 3 tablets
and baby was almost totally better in an hour. Since they
thought they should follow directions on the bottle they
gave more and then--- baby got the croup cough back. The baby
only needed the one dose to improve and more than that
caused symptoms to return. I don't know why they have
these 'directions' on some bottles of remedies bc if you
have reactions- you stop the remedy.

Sorry for not replying earlier as I was very busy during last few days. Well the Calcarea Carb is a very powerful homeopathic remedy for depression, stress, anger, irritability & hopelessness. If the symptoms of depression match with the symptoms mentioned about Calcarea Carb, it immediately relieves tension & one feels very much relaxed, relieved & light hearted,sees hope & everything seams good, sees brighter side of life.
