Lymphedema

Im 28 years old female from Slovenia (Europe) and my ankle on the right foot started sweeling towards my toenails and place under the ankle one year ago. At that time i started working in a pharmacy and my work is related with standing 8 hours and with stress. They have diagnosed me with relative insufficiency of lymphatic system of the right foot. The swelling starts when i get up in the morning and gets worse in the day. Before i go to sleep its the most swollen. In the morning when i stand up i can feel the heat going through my ankle and can almost feel the ankle start to swollen. At start of my disease my ankle was red and hot, so i gave cold towels on it. Now i only feel tension cause of the swelling. The leg is no longer red. I never had any pain.

It gets worse when im sitting for a long period of time or if im standing still. It gets worse if im bathing in hot water. Or if its really hot outside.

It gets better with rest, if im lying in my bed and it gets better with cold bandages on my foot. It doesnt get swollen that much if i go on a walk.

Im sensitive to heat, noise, shouting. I like peace and quiet. I can be quickly irritated and my face gets red and warm when im stressed.

Im angry my doctor told me this is an inherited disease and nothing they can do to help me. Just standard therapy with compression socks. I get really emotional when i see my swollen ankle and can cry at any moment when i think of it. I like being at home. Going to work or out with my friends can cause me stress, which results in sweating, thirst and stomach ache.

I really like to eat chocolate. I like vegetables and healthy food. But only small amounds of meat. I was vegeterian for 10 years until 4 years ago.

I had 2 operations in my life. They removed my right kidney when i was 10 years old because it was polycystic. And i had operation on my left knee 5 years ago (stabilization of the patella). Few months ago I realized i still dont use my left leg as i use my right one. I found myself standing with all of my weight sometimes on my right leg. When i walk down the steps i really put pressure on my right leg.

I dont take any medicines, not chemical nor homeopathic.

I sleep well, sometimes i have nightmares or no dreams at all-at least i dont remember it. I sleep enough, around 8 hours a night. I wake up rested and prepared for work.

Hi there!

Are homeopathic remedies easily available where you are?

You are probably going to have to order from Helios UK or
Remedia homeopathic Pharm in Europe. ( they say on sites they
are not allowed to ship to Croatia, Albania etc so I wanted to
find out if you will have any trouble ordering where you are.)

I suggest you email Revav6 At gmail dot com a homeopath from
India in the usa- tell her your browser link on here. Lets see
what Reva says about prescription for you- and how is the
other kidney doing? do you get it checked on at regular intervals?

Best,

Ok, thank you, I will send her the link.
My other kidney is doing fine, just had a check up (ultrasound). I have it every 2 years.

The saddest thing is homeopathy is only developing now here. But hopefully soon we will have all the remedies in our pharmacies.

Thank you very much!

Hello Pupika.
I would suggest you ar trying a remedy called Apis mellifera. Start with 30C and 200C later.
You should also take a trip to the dentist.

Sometimes there is a connection between teeth and ankle. An inflammation of a tooth can cause swelling in the ankle. Poor dental health can lead to a variety of disorders. Bacteria in the mouth spreads into the bloodstream to different parts of the organism.

Hey, thank you for your answer!

So i start with 30C, twice a week?
Im a bit afraid of reaction. I know it can get really worse if the remedy isnt used properly.

Thank you very much

Hi- get hold of the remedy and then ask Parakletos
how to take and how often. He did not say twice a week.

Ask Parakletos also what you have to avoid during
taking of remedy. I know coffee is one thing but
Dr. Showrav who is on forum, had a particular set
of things to avoid while on Apis. Honey, animal fats,
and red meat. I don't know if Parakletos will agree
with that list, but ask. He will guide you on this so
do not worry.
