Dr.Nawaz plz!- Hiddradenitis Suppurativa (HS) remedy doubt.
Hi Doctor,I am a 30 year old married Indian female. I have been going to a homeo doctor for the past 4 months for my HS problem.
These abscesses can become the size of a golf ball before they break. There is scarring,no itching and very often the scar gets really red, painful and hard (stone hard!) before pus starts filling. Then on taking Silicea 6x/12x it ripens and drains watery non-smelly pus for a few days and heals. In one underarm it heals fully till next episode. In other hand, majority of the times, a small opening remains with little to no discharge on a daily basis.
Here is why I need your help Dr. I think there is a remedy that helped me which my homeopath has asked me to change..not sure why.
Several remedies have been tried on me by my homeopath, but ones worth mentioning are as follows:
HAVE HELPED:
Silicea 6x/12x- Excellent for acute episodes! This ripens my HS abscess very well.
But noteworthy here is when I don't take Silicea my pus is thick, light yellow, creamy with no smell. But when I take Silicea, the pus is watery and almost transparent..a very light yellow-brown, no smell.
Calc Flour 6x/12x- helps soften the scar tissue.
CAN HELP OR WORSEN THINGS:
Calc Sulph 6x/12x- When there was no problem and I took it, for almost 3 weeks things were good. But the moment there was some pain and I was on it, the area became very red and hard. It was like the pus was being held back and it wanted to come out. At this time we noticed that I also got cyst-like hard boils on my face (never happened to me before)which took over 10days to go. Once I was asked to stop this remedy, I never got any such cysts again. So my doc has asked me not to take this again.
To find CONSTITUTIONAL MED, I have been put on-
Nat Mur 200ch- I got minor episodes while having this. So didn't help.
Hepar sulph 200ch- Some improvement,for about 7-8days, then got an episode. So doc didn't try it again.
IMP:**Silicea 200ch**-
This gave me good respite after an episode. I was on it for 6days and both my underarms were looking better and I was having almost no pain or tenderness.
But after this my doc had asked me to take Nat Mur 200ch for 6 days and when I started that course, I got a bad episode and am combating it today.
She has tried some other const meds(Belladona, Kali mur etc), but nothing worked well.
QUESTIONS:
1. Silicea 200ch worked well on me for 6days. After I am over this episode, can't I restart it? If so, what should be the dosage and how many days at a stretch can it be taken?
2. My personality traits match silicea a lot. Can silicea be a constitutional remedy for someone?
3. Does constitutional remedy have to be taken lifelong?
4.I want to try this plan:
-Calc Sulph 6x - When almost no/very little pain.
and alternate with few days of
Silicea 200ch in between to prevent pus formation.
-If pus starts forming, try hepar sulph 200ch for 1/2days.
and stop above two meds.
-If abscess increases and fills with pus, have hepar sulph 6x to gather pus and then,expel with few doses of silicea 6x
Does this sound logical?

Before I answer these questions, I must inform you of my limitations. I would not like to waste your time, in case you feel you won't be able to help me.
I have a dermatologist and a homeopath who have been helping me a lot. Though they don't know each other personally/professionally, they are aware of my situation. This is rare and I don't want to betray their trust in any way.
With great difficulty, thanks to my homeopath, I am now able to handle my acute HS abscess episodes, without the need of any antibiotics and corticosteroid injections. That to me is a miracle!
My homeopath was introduced to us by our family member and in 4 months, the results have been satisfactory. So I cannot stop visiting my dr. I have seen some good results with some of the medicines, and have mentioned it to the dr. But for some reason, I have not been put back on the remedies. I just want to know if I test my plan, can it cause some major side effects. (I am not pregnant)
In case, I fill out my information and you have to change my medication completely, I won't be able to see my dr anymore. Unfortunately, I can't do that.
So my sincere apologies in asking this- But will you re-evaluate all the remedies given to me and change them, OR do you need this information to answer my questions?
