Treatment for bone spur - trying to avoid surgery

Hi there,

I just went to a podiatrist and learned that I have a bone spur on my right toe, likely caused by an injury. I've had pain for years and have just 'sucked it up', but would prefer to have it healed.

The x-rays were very clear and the doctor recommended a Cheilectomy procedure: http://orthopedics.about.com/od/surgicalprocedur2/g/cheilect....

Are there any other treatments (aside from steroid injections) that will address this? I've got very limited range of motion in my big toe and it does limit my activities on occasion.

Thanks!
Maddie

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take Hekla Lava 6x 3 pellets in the morning and evening for 15 days and see how that affects.
