General question
Dear Doctors,among the questions asked by Homeopathy questionaire is the one related to sore throat.
I highly appreciate to know why it is important to always know if the patient suffer from sore throat and is this an indication of something and what is it.

No it is not like that. A homeopath considers all symptoms, sore throat is just one of those.

Hi - what question form are you using?
If you need a remedy, the homeopath looks at all
physical symptoms, and when they started, all
mental and emotional things and when they started,
weather likes and dislikes and food preferences, etc.
This is more for a chronic condition. The remedy is going
to be matched to all the above-the closer the match the
more likely the remedy will boost your vital force. When
that happens the vital force then goes into high gear and
clears out everything that is stopping you from being well.
Unless you have a sudden acute problem then remedy
can be chosen with less symptoms. Such as, you have a
fall, and are bruised- Arnica. My daughter came home
from being out in cold weather and suddenly had chills,
a sore throat, etc, I gave her Aconite 6c one dose, an hour
later half of her symptoms were gone- gave one more dose
and within 2 hours the entire 'flu' was gone. Acute
prescribing and chronic prescribing are two different
things- so you have to indicate more information on
what is going on to get the right remedy choices.
