Dr Reva - Pls need help!
We are from Hyderabad India. My son is 5 yrs old, he was diagnosed with Mild Autism when he was 20 months old. we believe all this is started after we gave him MMR in the 15th month, he fell sick badly was hospitailized for 3 days due to loose stools, vomiting, high fever and dehyderation.Since then he has been on GFCF Soy corn and sugar free diet. Have done Detoxification therapy (Infra Red Sauna Chamber, Cofee enema, rectal Ozone thearpy) for almost 1 year. Occupational therapy for abt 6 months and he could over come all the sensory issues like full sleev shirts, hair cut, fear of heigths, fine motor issues. Speech thearpy is going on since then and is still on. Gave him multi vitamin's s per the DAN protocol (Super Nethra, DMG, B12 Shots, Folic Acid, Calc with Zinc, Pro biotics, cod liver capsules, Primrose, GLA and Lipocuitical Gluthatione for Natural Detox etc) right now only giving him Calc, pro biotics and Gluthatione)Issues that we could resolve with the above protocol were improved eye contact, no sensory issues (toe walking, spinning, lining up of toys, mouthing of toys etc) started speaking in single words with the use of Gluthatione, better stools (before the diet, had very frequent loose stools and vomitings). better sleep, better moods.
Since Jan 2012, we started Neurofeedback for autism (Brain function training by Medha mind) and this has turned out to be the best treatment for my son, has started speaking in sentences, askinh questions, improved receptive language, potty tarined, expressing his wants very well, doing good at school (he goes to a regular school and is in Lower Kinder garten) is able to answer questions in the exams. Is able to understand our feelings, is accepting his younger brother whos is 5 months old. Is playing approriately with toys and showing his creativity while playing. He has improved in bundles i can say
But the only issue which i still face is his abilty to listen(i dont mean hearing, but listing to what we saying) i believe its more to do with his attention and concentration level which are still bad. I think now its more like he has ADHD. He also has behaviour issues, he still cant sit in the class for too long. He gets too excited for simple things or nothing at all and starts of screaming or shouting or jumping and many a times stiffens his hands and body and screams. Even though he is been on diet for almost 3+ yrs, he still craves for Sweets, milk and wheat items.
As per his speech thearpist he can do wonder and be at par with his language as per his age very soon if he can pay attention to what we say and use the same language appropriately.
So, i was looking at some help with homeo on his hyperactivety, behavioural issues, language development and his ability to pay better attention. Assuming that homeo doesnt interfere with the Neurofeedback treatment that we doing right now. I would surely want to see what we can do with homeo to help my child
In the past, i have given him sulphur 30 few doses and for his cold i give him aconite 30 as soon as i see the cold or cough symptom and Natrum Sulp for cold and dullcamara or ANTIM TART for cough.
Please do let me know if you would need any more information abt my son, i would be more than gald to provide the same, if that can help you make a better judgement for the med to use.

Until you get it, you can give the following medicine and you will see a rapid result.
1. Antimonium Crud 200, one dose every morning for 3 days. Repeat based on the out come. after this,

I forgot to mention something I felt is important to be told.
My blood group is A-, so I was given rhogam during my pregnancy in the 6th month. I'm not sure if this effects the child, but I can surely say that he was pretty normal till we gave him MMR, only after giving him MMR is when he was hospitalized and was on heavy anti biotics and started having very frequent loose stools, vomitings, fevers etc.
I had a question here, you mentioned that MMR might aggravate some times, what can I expect.
I had been to the shop where I usually get homeo medicines, when I asked for MMR, they asked me if I was very sure if I wanted MMR,as it was one of the rare medicines brought. So I'm a lil worried if it would cause any harm.
Would it have any adverse reactions in the future or can I take the risk of giving it to see the result. Or should I first try Antim Crude and lac can first.
Pls advice.
Also, I wanted your advise for my second son who is 5 months old and was born thru c section and weighed 2.6 when he was born and I didn't take rhogam this time and took all the possible precautions I could think of.
His weight is abt 6.2 now, but he has been having a bad appetite, I had taken help from this forum itself and given him antim crude 6 one dose 3 days and it seemed like it helped but still he has a bad appetite he has abt 100 to 120 ml milk at one time, so i feed him more often.
Since 15 days he has been having a very bad diaper rash, external application of creams didn't help much, so I reached this forum again and I was advised to give Uritica urns q 3drops twice for 10 days and calc curb 30 twice for 10 days it's been abt a week now I started these medicines, it helped him to an extend but seems like the rash is coming back again. I'm assuming it's a rash caused by yeast, as it doesn't seem to go away and I see the redness is on the edges.
Pls advise if I should continue with the above remedies or pls suggest the appropriate one both to improve his appetite and get rid of the rash.
I have started him on semi solids this week, started giving him banana and home made rice powder as of now.

MMR is never uncommon to administer and you dont have to hesitate. you need to get homeopathic MMR from a very good manufacturer (please verify the name and write back)

For your second son, the effective diaper rash medicine for infants I found is Cornus Circinata 6x. You can give twice a day for 2 days only for good result.
Antimonium Crud 6 does clears yeast and hence you can also give it once a day for 3 days only and wait for the result.
You want to keep an eye on food. some processed food can cause diaper rash and stopping them can clear it permanently.
You can apply Calendua Ointment and that clears it too.

Magnesia Mur 30 is NOT same as MMR 30. I doubt MMR is available in India and your only option is order through UK website.
In the mean time, give Antimonium Crud and Lac Can

MMR Vaccine is listed there and I am sure they have. If you dont find it listed, just write to them and they can ship. In this case, please get both MMR 30 and 200
Remember, Lac Can 200 is only one dose and never repeat.

Hi reva v,
I gave lac can 200 today to my elder son, so far he is doing ok. I gave this to him in the morning and he got up in the evening with a very cranky mood which never happens and then kept passing gass which was smelly.
Will keep you posted.
My second sons diaper rash has got worst so had to take him to pead doc, he gave a cream and I'm hoping it should get fine.
Since yesterday he has passed 4 small stools which were smelly and sticky with mucus. And is been a lil irritated and is been passing gas. While passing gas he is been crying.
Please suggest a remedy, I gave him Antim Crud 1 dose 2 days, didn't find the Cornus circinata in the store here so haven't given that as yet.
Pleas suggest a remedy that I can give him.

For your second son, please do not give any other medicine for one week and write back
For your first, please apply calendula Homeopathic ointment. Diaper rash is very related to intolerance of food. Find out by eliminating, which food causes it and eliminate. If Cornus is not available, please continue with Antim Crud 6, every morning for 3 days to see whether that makes the difference.

What I noticed is that he started clearing his bowels 2 times a day which was usually 1 time earlier and is nit passing gas with foul smell, he did that only on the first day after giving lac can, now he is not passing smelly gas. I am likely to ask you wait for longer time and give one more dose of Lac Can 200, only if the symptom reverses.
No need for Antim Crud for now.
I found that Lac can can rebuild intestinal flora (after clearing the fungus). Hence let us give his body enough time to rebuild flora, after which all mental conditions will improve significantly.
Avoid milk, wheat for now.

MMR Vacc. and I hope that is what your ordered, if you already. You may need both C30 and C200
Since your son is already responding well to wiping out the yeast with Lac Can, we may hold on to it for a longer time before we give MMR. Please continue to report, esp if you find no more improvement.
For your second son, with sticky stool, please give one dose of lycopodium 6c (not 30c) and write back on the second day. I beleive you dont find diaper rash any more. You may also need to go to Antim Crud 200 for him after lyco.

Hi,
My first son after the one dose of lac can is doing fine but i see a lil change in his bowel movements, which was daily 1 to 2 times now is changed to once in 2 days. So I'm not sure why that change has occurred. 2 other things that i noticed is that he started being very sensitive to sounds around him like the cooker whistle, mixie etc. second is that he started fearing to go to other rooms in the house with out me, earlier he use to go to other bed rooms and use the toilets there, all that we had to make sure was that the light was on, now even though the lights are on, he is not willing to go alone. Pls suggest how to go about further with him.

Which is even even in the family both my husband and father in law have asthma problem.
