terrible Tinea Capitas on four year old girl

I have a 4 year old with ringworm of the scalp. She has had it for 4 months now. I had first treated it with garlic and thought it was gone, but it has come back with even more spots. Under a black light she has one large spot the size of a loonie, and 6 others the size of a kidney bean. Right now I am treating with bacillinum, 2 pellets 1x day for five days then off for a week, the 2 pellets 1x day for another week and have yet to see any results. I wash her hair with a 3% sulphur soap and I am also putting on iodine solution in the morning and night and a solution of pool salt water, hoping it will work sort of like the bleach, but less abrasive. Any oil like coconut or castor oil has really made the sores moist and soon I will see new spots. She got this from her uncles dairy barn. That is why bacillinum was choosen as they often treat the cows with that remedy. She is a good eater, goes to the bathroom within a half hour of eating each meal like clock work. I have been giving her coconut oil to eat everyday to ward off candida. Would love another opinion on this. It really seems to be tough to clear up!

Hello, anyone willing to give some advice!

Please stop Bacillinum. It should not be repeated like that.

Please give her a single dose of Calc Carb 200 and report back after 15 days. Only one dose, not daily.

Hello, I have got my remedy. If you are going to suggest any other remedies, if you could let me know so I can order them. I will give her the dose tomorrow morning upon rising. Thanks!

She may need Lycopodium 200, Sulphur 200 and Psorinum 200 in future. But please note that this will really depend on her response to calc carb.

Hello, so it has been almost a week since her dose. I did switch the topical application which I had been doing to using BIO 82, which is for fungal infections by Dr. Reckeweg. I have used it 4 times now. The large spot is showing a little worse than it was. It was just a fine white scaly patch and now is turning sort of yellowish. She has had the yellowish look before, and then it spread. She also seems to be growing a sort of pimple or pustule on the large spot as well. I am not sure what caused the reaction, the calc carb or the bio 82. I am sorry, I should have not changed the topical. Should I give her another dose in case I messed up by using a homeopathic topical. Thanks.

Can you please give the following information in respect of your daughter.

1.whether she prefers warm surroundings ie whether she likes to be covered or she prefers cold surroundings and open air.

2.whether she has a mild disposition or an irritable disposition. How is her attitude towards her friends and relatives?

3.What other physical problems, if any does she have.

4.At what time she feels better and at what time does she feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.

5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting her problems.

6.How is her thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?

7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.

8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

1.whether she prefers warm surroundings ie whether she likes to be covered or she prefers cold surroundings and open air.
She likes to be dressed well during the day, and especially outside she does not like the cold. She likes to wear socks to bed, yet throws her bed covers off every night. I put them back on when I check on her around 10:00. She prefers indoors, but will play well outside with others.

2.whether she has a mild disposition or an irritable disposition. How is her attitude towards her friends and relatives?
I would say mild for the most part, but can be quite irritable sometimes. She has a helpful attitude to others, but depending on her mood to her me, it can be difficult to get her to do her small chores. Can butt heads with her brother often, but they share the roll of pest equally. She loves her cousins, but can be 'snobby' and not answer when spoken to sometimes. It is not a shy response but 'I don't want to talk to you' response. She is generally easy going, and loves company. Nobody ever complains of her being naughty if they had to watch her for a day, and she is especially helpful when she is at others houses.

3.What other physical problems, if any does she have.
She does get a bark sounding cough at night at least twice a winter.

4.At what time she feels better and at what time does she feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.
She wakes cranky, but is smiling within a half hour. She has been more happy in the morning since the dose of calc carb. She can get very cranky if she goes past bedtime, which is between 7:00 to 7:30.

5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting her problems.
She picked up the ringworm while I was away for 5 days. My husband took the kids every morning to the dairy barn where he works, and she had ringworm when I got back.

6.How is her thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?
Her thirst has increased since the dose, she likes water and raw milk. She does like juice but not sweet juice. I make my own from cranberry, and honey, she likes that as it is tart.

7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.
She has very regular bowel movements. She goes within a half hour of eating, like clock work. They are form, and very large.

8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.
She likes to play with little characters, or dolls, but does move around while she plays. The house will be in one corner, the grocery store in another room, the church in another room etc. She is my biggest complainer for 'are we there yet' in the car by far, but when we get somewhere, it can take some time for her to warm up the surroundings.

She loves to imagine. She likes to dress up, and pretend she is married, or has a religious vocation. She likes to tell us often of what she will do when she is grown up, but is not day dreamy where she goes into her own little world, as she always notices everything and each change around her. She keeps a good eye on her brother and sister to see what they are doing.

Please give her a single dose of Psorinum 200 and see how that affects in next 15 days.

Hello, I ordered the remedies you had stated before, and psorinum is on backorder until next week. Should I continue with the BIO 82 on her sores, or just leave everything alone other than sulphur soap.

Or I could do the iodine and salt water again.

Hello again, I would like to mention, my son who also had ringworm at the same time on his back, it has now returned. I have him in this forum about 6 year old boy bedwetting. I had suggested to me to try cina 30c 6 a day 2 times and then arnica 200c 6 at bedtime. Everyday for 15 days. So far no dry days, but has been wetting heavier that he even soaks out of his night diapers. My youngest also had ringworm on her elbow, but it looks like it is gone, but I am not sure, it may resurface like her brothers. She is 2 years. I gave her calc carb as she is such a slow talker. And her vocab has increased greatly since that dose. Sorry to bombard you with more troubles. Thanks

I should also mention that he also now has a really itchy bum, especially at night when I tuck him in, within the next 20 minutes he is complaining of an itchy bum, and has been grinding his teeth during the day for the last 3 days or so.

Don't apply BIO 82.

Please don't give any remedy to your son for 7 days and see how that affects. It may be homeopathic aggravation.

Later he may need Lycopodium 200 and Tuberculinium 1M or 200 whichever is available.

Hello, and now today it has returned again on my 2 year old. She took a dose of calc carb 2 weeks ago. The spot is in the same place, but looks smaller than the first spot. Should I repeat her dose of calc carb 200c? Thanks.

junick last decade
Please wait. It should disappear on it's own.

Hello, I just thought I would let you know that my little ones ringworm is really clearing well. My son's ringworm is staring to clear as well, but he has been soooo weepy and irritable. He bothers his sisters all the time, and can not fall asleep at all. He has always had a hard time to fall asleep, around 45 minutes, now it is like 2 hours. My daughter with the scalp ringworm hers has been growing quite alot and I still have not got the remedy. It has grown at least a quarter larger in size, and many more spots showing now, around 10. Thanks!

Please wait for another week. He should improve on his own. If he doesn't he should get a single dose of Tubercullinum 200 or 1M.

Hello, I got my remedy for my daughter, psorinum 200c, gave it Friday morning, we will see how it goes!

Hello, so my son is still irritable, and boothersome all the time. He just seems so out of sorts, crying more, obstinate, pesty, annoying his sisters. Just not his normal self. After a week for my daughters ringworm, it has grown in size. I will see what the next week brings. It is very, very flaky and has a little bit of a honey crust on the middle of the large spot, but not a lot, maybe 1 cm. or so in the middle the spot is around and inch and a half.

You may give your son a single dose of Lycopodium 200.

Hello, so it has been the 2 weeks for the psorinum 200c for my daughter. Initially it flared up, but now has not grown much. It is very flakey. White scaley flakes. Do I give her another does?

My son, whom I gave the lycopedium 200c to, has now developed a small ringworm on the cheek, or so I think. It isn't red on the iside of the ring, but white, could be another mark of some sort, but I am thinking a small ringworm.

Let me know what to do, thanks!

PS, I gave my little one the calc carb 200c, her talking has improved at least 200%! It is unreal!

There is no need to give any remedy to your daughter and son for the time being. Let us see how that goes in next 15 days.

Hello Kadwa, just thought I would let you know she has really bad light yellow scaling, and has now one small spot raised with a red appearance again, a few other spots are inflamed again but not red. I am surprised at the amount of scale on the wound. I had cut the hair around the area when I found the spot originally and trimmed it again in September, it is growing now again, but not the original bald spot. The smaller spots are also still bald, and very scaly. Just wondering if this scaling is a sign of healing or should we try another dose of the psorinum. I also have stopped with the sulphur soap for washing her hair. Should I use the soap, I just thought it would let me see if the remedy was working rather than guessing between the soap or the remedy.
