Miracle mUshroom Kombucha

Well it is not exactly a mushroom, but a lichen (bacteria and yeast that have a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship). Well there union is beautiful. The Kombucha has been around since approx 461 BC in Korea. The original patch doesnt even exist anymore!! The nectar these Kombuchas produce helps alkalize the body, rejuvinate our cells, promotes detox, and can even kill viruses such as those associated with warts and AIDS!! The Kombucha is even beneficial for plants and animals. I grow them in my home and have them in abundance. Please if you are interested contact me ASAP. I do sell them but for a needy soul I will pass on this gift for free.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
A few years back we used to take a tea made with a mushroom. We would put the mushroom in a big glass jar and pour leaker tea over it. After a week of fermenting, another mushroom would grow. That waas the tea for taking everyday. The second mushroom was supposed to be given away or even thrown. a single one was in use. The new mushroom would take the shape of the glass container.
This was also from the orient and was supposed to cure many things.
Is this Kombucha mushroom? If so I would like to inform that we cannot stop drinking the tea or all the diseases would come back. It did not cure but helped temporarily as long as the tea was drunk.
Please inform.

First you said you drank this tea a few years back, do you still drink the tea? And What diseases are you referring to? In my practice of Kombucha both mushrooms (mother and baby) are resubmitted into fresh tea to grow more babies, only when a mushroom has gone through menopause or is defected must it be thrown out or used to extract concentrate. When beginning to drink Kombucha one begins with about 2oz/day and can work up to as much as 12oz/day in about a two month time period. But not everyone must drink that much, it is truely up to the user and the differences one can realize due to the amount one drinks. When you say it did not cure can you be more specific to the type of illnesses how long you had them and the amount of tea and length of time it was drunk. Drinking Kombucha is a lifelong endeavor and only the amount drank should fluctuate. Why did you feel you should stop drinking it? Just like medication that must be taken, it should be taken everyday and quitting its use will propogate symptoms to reoccur. Anyway, if you still are drinking the tea I have some concern in the way you are preparing it. A glass bowl is perferable over a jar and what is "leaker tea"? Thank you for taking the time to reply and please answer specifically so I may help more accurately. Thanks!

Sunbabe,Thanks for your feedback.
It means that it is the same mushroom. All of us had taken the required dose only. About 8-9 family members used to drink it for various problems. The problem was if we had to go out of city we could not take it and the health problems returned. One of us is a asthma patient. It had helped her for a few months but then stopped. So she too stopped taking it. It had not helped me a lot. I dont remember as the story is 10-12 years old. Maybe more.
Leaker tea is black tea. That's what it is called in India.
