Tetanus risk or not...

Hi Everyone,
I've just refused the pediatrician who wanted to give my 5 year old son a Tetanus shot due to a little but deep wound which was caused in the kindergarden by a lego block (and an angry little girl). I gave him Staphisagria X12 at first when I saw him, and one and a half hour later Ledum C30. I decided to buy Ledum200C and Hypericum 200C tomorrow and give him alternately in water soluton. My husband turned out to favour vaccination pretty much. I'm only worrying because the teacher in the kindergarden cleaned the wound with my son's watered towel, which he used all week, didn't even used soap, and put a little bandage on it after. The doctor only moped up the wound with a gauze pad and applied some desinfectant on the two hour old wound, and pulled it together with adhesive bandages, and told us that the bandage should stay on it for several days, as long as it could. But it still bleading a bit into the bandage, of course, so it was never let to bleed out, no air, and at first the cleaning was not hygienic, and what would it look like tomorrow and later? shall I change the bandage or it only does harm to the whole condition? Is my remedy, potency, and the delivery sistem choice correct? Thanks in advance!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is best that you use an antibiotic ointment like Polyfax which you can massage into the wound to help disinfect it inside.

If it does not heal in 4 days or your son develops a temperature you will have to get the tetanus shot.

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose which you can give him thrice daily will help to heal the wound. Stop the other remedies you listed.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

Thank you for your kind reply.
It's a sharp cut deep wound in the skin, which normally does not heal in a few days, I remember when i cut my finger in the kitchen... The doctor closed the wound with these adhesives, and put a bandage on it, told me not to remove for a few days. So do you suggest that I remove the whole thing, and put on it something topically? It happened 18 hours ago, if the bacteria is there, maybe it's in the blood now.. That's why I want to prevent any tetanus infection, if it's possible. Do you say that Arnica is better for that than the two others I mentioned? Prevent the infection with it almost a day after? I'll try it though, but if it doesn't help, and Hypericum doesn't arrest the fever (if it happens),will the Tetanus shot at that late?

'The doctor only moped up the wound with a gauze pad and applied some desinfectant on the two hour old wound, and pulled it together with adhesive bandages, and told us that the bandage should stay on it for several days, as long as it could.'

I presume that your doctor knew what he was about and as long as he had used an antiseptic, this should do. In any case it would not be wise to remove the bandage as this will cause more problems.

It is unlikely that there could be a case of tetanus infection and you can observe how he responds in the next few days. If he presents a fever and the wound seems sensitive it is time to go back to your doctor for further treatment.

Arnica 30c in the Wet dose is by far the preferred remedy to heal wounds.

Hypericum is useful to reduce nerve pain and will not help to heal the wound. It is not applicable for your son's injury.

I also don't think that it would be any serious infection. I agree with you in Arnica med. sol. I will be monitoring him closely of course. Thank you for your help.
