Remedy for always tired/fearful baby

Our 12 mo. old son had been an easy healthy baby, but lately his behavior has been a bit off.

I noticed a difference about 3 months ago following a pretty scary near choking followed by slow, difficult teething (after 2 months of teething, he finally got the first 4 teeth out at 11 months). With teething he had a chronically stuffy nose, broken sleep, and became very clingy. Chamomile and cell salts helped some, but off behavior has persisted. He walked, crawled, etc. at normal times despite delayed teething. He has never been sick except a few runny noses. He has slept thru the night since 2 months and takes excellent naps (sleeps on tummy), but lately he wakes up completely unrefreshed with a few periods of murmuring during the night. He screams hysterically at diaper changes and when he is corrected/redirected. He plays happily by himself (if someone is in the room with him), but is very clingy when tired and is the 'cryer' when dropped off at the church nursery which he was fine with as a baby. He starts to pout when we enter the hallway then sobs at the hand-off and has to be held for a while before playing somewhat. His appetite varies greatly and he is solidly built, but on the thinner side. Other symptoms include: chronic orange ear wax, but never had an ear infection; mild crust on scalp as an infant; diaper rash with egg yolk; fear of vacuum noise.

I am debating Lycopodium based on the fearfulness and tantrumy behavior (I am also considering it for my overcritical 5 yr old), but I would love any advice. Thanks.
