Stiff Heart

Hello,
My Father 73 years old, diabetic(in complete control with Yoga and ayurvedic medicines), BP and Hypokelimea. He had a massive cardiac arrest in month of May 2012. Stents were injected, but doctors informed that stunts are of no use as his left ventricle is damaged after he got second attack. He was put on medication and Sorbitrate for 1 month. His health improved and now he is much better. He has resumed pranayam and there was good improvement in his health. Recently he has developed Breathlessness and doctors are saying that it is because his heart pumping rate is low and heart is stiff. He is put on Diuritics(Dytor 10mg).
Is there any medicine for heart stiffness and improvement of heart pumping?

Thank you very much.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Digitalis and Crataegus are very good medicines for heart related problems.

Digitalis is used for weakness of heart including heart failures. Due to weakness of heart, there could be edema.

Crataegus is used for improving blood flow in heart, thereby it helps to improve heart function.

Usually they are used in low potencies. Mother tincture of Crataegus, 3 drops as one dose, three dose a day. Digitalis 6 three times a day. Both can be used concurrently.
