Infant w/ Reflux & Corn/Dairy Sensitivities

Hi! Wondering if Nat Phos 6x could help us. Possibly Arnica? Here is the situation:

16 week infant with extreme sensitivity to corn. When consumed (thru breastmilk), face rash, mucous, green diapers, congestion, watery eyes and severe distress about 45 min after eating before LARGE vomits. Vomits multiple times with distress. When clean from corn, infant still vomits excessively but without distress (and other symptoms gone). However, sleep is always bad.
With corn, will be up for almost 2 hours after night feeds until vomiting clears up, plus wakes every 45 min or so. W/o corn, will return to sleep, fewer wakings, but ALWAYS restless and archy and wiggly after 3am. Never ever sleeps longer than 45 min after the 3/4am feed. Never. Once awake for the morning, pukes buckets but still w/o distress.
During the day, infant sometimes is irritable and grunting but then spits up or belches followed by vom a second or two later. LOTS of vomiting throughout the day even off of corn. With corn there is severe crying and obvious upset before the puke (and surprisingly that it's possible, but even more vomit than normal).

Day sleep is always interrupted as well. On or off corn.
Off of corn, infant gulps, chokes and cries hard during feedings (bottle or breast).

Have noticed since week 2.
Zantac and Prilosec were huge problems (prob bec they contain corn and we didn't know yet).
Infant sleeps on stomach and inclined, however it's never really 'solved' anything. Same behavior.
The post-3am thing regarding sleep is that even on good days, he just can't seem to settle back into sleep. He is sleeping then wakes and arches and wiggles every minute to five minutes. Continuously for HOURS. If left alone, infant will fully wake and not return to sleep. Currently I sleep next to his crib and simply pay his back for hours until he is wakeful enough around 6am and we just start the day.

Sedalia and Cocicyntal have not worked. Probiotics helped lower half gas.

Off of corn he really does sleep much better, but still does weird wiggles after 3am feeding and interrupted day sleep about 50% of time. Doctors suggest reflux, I am pretty sure too, but do not want to give drugs (esp with corn allergy).

Infant is 16lbs. Gains weight well. Typically happy when not revolving around feedings.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Mother should take three doses of Pulsatilla 200 at a gap of 12 hours and see how that affects the baby in 7 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you! I had not mentioned that this past week we successfully switched him to formula, so my ingestion of remedies will not matter now. Sorry! I didn't think it'd affect your suggestions.

He is still a restless sleeper and s/u quite a bit. My original post is accurate and was written with him already on formula.

In that case you should give him pulsatilla 200.

1/2 tsp may be given from the 20 ml water after making the dose as above. You should make fresh dose every time.

Thank you for responding. Before I dive in, can you please let me know the 'why' and what to expect??

Same instructions to give 1/2 t every 12 hours for 7 days?

It seems like a generic remedy, sort of a catch all. Just want to know what I'm giving my infant beforehand. Thanks!

It is just three doses in 7 days. You should stop after three doses and watch. All remedies suggested here are generic. Pulsatilla seems to be indicated on the basis of symptoms you have reported.

OK, going to acquire this today. I will give him a total of 3 doses, 12 hours apart but watch for 7 days.
My little guy caught a cold yesterday and is extremely stuffy. Should I wait to give him Pul until the cold is gone or use it to help with cold to? Same dosing?

Thanks!

It should help in cold too.

1st & 2nd doses yesterday. Sleep was best it has ever, ever been. Amazing! However, vomit was rather significant yesterday and through this morning. Much more than in recent days. Gave him last dose this morning.

If it works, is he supposed to improve as the week goes on and then not need to use it again?

Please see whether vomiting improves in few days. If it doesn't please give him three doses of Phosphorus 30 as you did for Pulsatilla and see how that affects in next few days.

In the case of infants remedy may be repeated if there is a relapse in symptoms. If no relapse no need to repeat.

Hasn't worked. Will try Phos 30 (dissolving 2 pellets in syringe of water).
Thx
