4 month old with
Dear Dr JoeMy 4 month old has been suffering from acid reflux for about 3 weeks now .He is on breast milk 100% . ( I feed him via bottle ( ie pumped milk) and direct)
We burp him easily during daytime but during nights burping gets difficult once he falls alseep ( even after trying for an hour or so after feeding.. no burp once he falls asleep)
His symptoms
- throws up after every feed ( curdy and sour smelly in nature)
- extremely fussy during and after feeding. ( along with constant screaming and grunting )
-restless and sleepless during night time.Wakes up every hour.
- bowels. yellow in color and smelly.
His PED prescribed Zantac but we
tried chamomilla 200c instead - just one dose today and he became
extremely restless and inconsolable and was screaming for over an hour.
