Seeking remedy for my son of 7 years
He is borne out of IVF.DOB is 8th Jan 2006. Born preterm (31 weeks) and low weight (1.54 Kg). He had to be administered surfactant on day1.He have had low sleep hours initially and continued till about 1.5 years. Nowadays though he sleeps avg 10 hours / day. Even now, however much physical activity he does, he hardly ever sleeps in the noon.
Now 7 years and weighs 19 Kgs and 110 cm tall. He did not have any body weight gain over last one year and gained about 3 cm over last 1 year.
He had been full of energy and highly active all throughout, who never seemed to tire. However, over last about 12 months or so, his energy level seems to have come down substantially.
He has been quite inquisitive and I guess very intelligent. Averse to prolonged focussed activity, though he learns very quickly.
He is very fussy , small and light eater with no liking for any type of food. He does not seem to like chewing. Somebody need to feed him.
Initial about couple of years, he had been a fairly healthy baby. Having cough and cold and congestion sometime from year 3 or so. He would build up high fever. He was advised inhalation through Nebuliser, Huf-puf kit etc. His cough and cold congestion has been repeating at almost every weather change. He is unable to throw out his cough. Typical medications would include inhalations and antibiotic. He had very high fever when 3.9 Years, 6.5 Year and again 6.9 Years and dengue. Recently hosipitalised for high respiratory distress. We look forward to your advice.

Can you please give the following information in respect of your son.
1.whether he prefers warm surroundings ie whether he likes to be covered or he prefers cold surroundings and open air.
2.whether he has a mild disposition or an irritable disposition. How is his attitude towards his friends and relatives?
3.What other physical problems, if any does he have.
4.At what time he feels better and at what time does he feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.
5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting his problems. Whether any significant psychological impact coincided with the start of complaints?
6.How is his thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?
7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.
8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

1. My son prefers cold and like not to have too many warm clothes even in severe winter.
2. He had been hyperactive and always preferred running around whole day. Seeks lots of attention from us and get agitated if we do not listen to him. In school he is very obedient to his teachers. Prefers physical activity. Difficult to concentrate for long time.
3. We have not noticed any trend and change in his behavior over the day.
4. We feel he exhausts all the energy he takes in. He is a very poor eater. hardly ever mentions that he is hungry.
5. He likes cold drinks though he does not consume much of the same.
6. Bowel movement is normal. Only over last few months he complained about occasional stomach pain.

Please give him three doses of Lycopodium 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.
Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
