Sever throat infection and cough/cold and high fever: 3.5 year child pls help

Hello experts,

My 3.5 year old child has been suffering from severe throat infection, has high fever, running nose, congestion, sever cough. Our doctor prescribed a antibiotic yesterday. He is also on fever reducers(ibubrofen). We have not seen major improvements after the two doses of antibiotics. When the original symptoms started one day ago, he was shivering complained of pain in the chest for a couple of minutes. Our doctors confirmed that the lungs are clear and it is a sever throat infection alongwith a viral infection that is causing cough/cold.

I am writing on this forum to get some long term advice, as he has been having throat infections on and off and had a flu just 3 weeks ago. 6 months Ago, he had a sever throat infection, had a lot of difficulty breating because of congestion, there was lot of noise when he was breathing normally.

My immediate goal is to cure him of the current problem. Please suggest. Can I start Belladonna 30C.

He is a healthy child otherwise. Very active.

Thanks in advance!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is a very unusual Flu going around the world today causing severe distress everywhere and I believe that your son too is suffering from it.

I have suffered from it and at my advanced age of 84, I did not wish to risk using only my Homeopathic remedies as I do not take any pills whatever and am normally in good health but for the first time in many years I used Amoxyl 500mg as I feared that I risked getting some lung infection as the rale or sound from the lungs when breathing resulted in some incredible whistling sounds clearly audible without a stethoscope.

As to be expected the antibiotic did not help in any way and I suffered for about 2 weeks with a violent barking cough till I diagnosed my problem to be caused by a Virus which seemed to be reinventing itself every few days when the coryza and the cough with copious phlegm would recur.

I used Eupatorium Perfoliatum 200c in the Wet dose taken thrice daily and in just 2 days I was CURED.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done at least 6 times before sipping a capful of the bottle as prescribed.

This remedy will also build up the resistance to Flus and anyone may use it as a Prophylactic when the dosage is just a teaspoonful taken twice weekly.

Bell 30 will not help.

Report progress in a week.
