Feline stomatitis caused by autoimmunity
A 4-year-old neutered male cat that I rescued has stomatitis, which, at least for cats, is autoimmune-based. (Once I treated treating an apparent upper respiratory infection with echinacea and had near-disastrous results. The stomatitis became terribly worse.)I've only been able to trap him once to get him to the vet. He gave him a shot of cortisone, which only worked for 11 weeks. I did treat him with staphysagria for a few weeks, but that stopped working. The only thing that helps is prednisolone (5 mg. 2x/day). When I try to cut it down to once a day for a week and then every other day (per the vet's instructions), he immediately starts having pain. He's been on lysine for awhile, and within the past couple of weeks he's been on 5 mg. of Co Q-10 1x/day, and for the past week, a product called Gumz-n-Teeth. For the past month or so, I've given him liquid calendula (5 drops 3x/day). I've just ordered a new product called EFAC Peridontal Health.
He eats plain baby food mixed with Wellness soft food.
Has anyone had success treating this homeopathically? Without anything, he can be in so much pain that he screams and refuses to eat.

Kadwa, may I ask if you mean 30c or 30x here? I have a cat with stomatitis that presents very similarly to LagunaMom's so this thread caught my attention. Thank you!

hi my cat was diagnosed with stomatis, always screaming COULD NOT EAT. they removed some bad teeth but it kept on. They gave her shots that did not work. I thought I had to put her down from his pain. but I tried daves pate tuna and chicken GRAIN FREE. this food saved his life I put the food in the ninja which I bought at walmart 18.99 the base model 4 blade. I put the can in the ninja and I equal can of water. then I add immne support made by tomlyn with Llysine their phone number is 1 877 5807729 the 1 little spoon that's included. then after mixing in ninja buy a small little hand strainer for tea pour the food till strained and put strained food in small platic bowl to store feed to your cat my cat eats now Does not scream and EATS!!!! she is healed on this food and treatment lori
