The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Carcinosin and PVIDS/Epstein Barr/Mono

I have been suffering from this latest relapse of post viral immuno dysfuntion syndrome (previous Epstein Barr Virus) for 3 weeks. Symptoms have included a very swollen and sore throat and lymph nodes, fatigue, anxiety, weepiness about my illness, and "hot flashes". My dr is an MD and practices homeopathy, and he sent me home with a remedy called Carc 200c.

I took one dose on Monday, another on Tuesday, and Wednesday I woke up with my throat swelling gone, having significantly more energy, and an overall mental feeling of wellness - peace, no more anxiety. I did NOT take the remedy Wednesday or Thursday... and Thursday I felt like I was sliding back into my relapse, and Friday I was firmly returned - swelling, severe pain, and severe fatigue. I spoke with my dr and he suggested that I take the remedy again Fri/Sat/Sun and talk with him (if I needed him over the weekend or wait until) Monday.

It is Sunday afternoon and I've got to say that my throat swelling is almost completely gone, my swallowing is pain free, and I have just a little discomfort in my throat. My mental state is very positive, and I had enough energy not only to shower, but also to go to the health food store and pick up some fruits and veggies (I had to get out after 3 weeks home). At 3 o'clock, I think I may even be able to join my family for dinner...
