Son is constantly trying to pop/clear his ears

Hello! My 7 year son is constantly trying to pop his ears, as if they were clogged, like with pressure changes. This has probably been happening for the last 6-7 months. I have noticed that just recently, with really loud sounds he will cover his ears, but only certain sounds. Like if my nephew is banging on a toy, he will cover his ears, but we were just at Monster jam with loud trucks, and he was fine. We are getting ready to go on an airplane and I am concerned that he will be in pain. He has never had an ear infection, and up until last year, he went to the chiropractor regularly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him three doses of Asarum 30 (Asarum Europaeum) as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
