Ear fluid/mucus after infection

My daughter is four years old and she had high cough/cold 5 months ago which resulted in ear infection.
We gave Augmentin DDS for infection for 7 days and it was OK. Soon she caught cold again twice between this period (2 months) and she reported ear pain.

Augmentin was given again and we did Impedance testing for her left ear.. It showed some congestion in the ear. So nasal spray, flixonase/metatop spray, and steam was recommended.
We have been doing this without any help.

Just now I checked with the Doctor again after a month of above medication (spray/steam) and it was told to us that congestion is huge and might go for small surgery.

I read on this website similar kid conditions and it was recommended that Kali Bich 30 or Aconite 30 (5 globules 3 times a day) will be useful.

I got both these medicines and have started Aconite yesterday (1 day complete).

Want to know which one is better suited for the condition and for how long we should give this before the next Impedance test.

My daughter is pretty cheerful/helpful and mixes well with friends. No signs of anger but her hands sweat a few times during the day. Overall I don't find any behavioral changes in her.
Also, she is not having cough/cold at the moment.
She used to go to Day-care, but we've stopped that since last 2 weeks.

Your reply will help us get rid of the mental agony.

Dear Mr. Tamhankar,
Thank you very much for the reply.

I've a couple of queries -

1. How long to continue this medication.

2. Will 1M potency be fine for this age. I just want to be sure of any side affects or any other.

3. On the third day, could Kali Mur and Merc Sol be given 30 mins before meals (breakfast and dinner) with a gap of 30-40 mins between them.

4. You mentioned, 'Pl keep 30-40 minutes gap between 2 and 3'., I guess this means, 30-40 mins gap between the above two medicines.

I'll appreciate your response.

Thanks.

We are giving only one dose of 1m potency. So do not worry.

Pl give Kali Mur and Merc Sol for 10 days.

There should be gap of 30-40 minutes between Kali Mur and Merc Sol
Generally you should keep one hour before or after any meal to take the medicine.
