My 4 year old has chronic cough
He has chronic cough do not know the doctor has prescribed albuterol but nothing works it usually starts after he eats food. Feels like a dry cough could you please suggest some remedySvjois on 2013-03-23
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Pl give him
1. Spongia Tosta-30 6 pills twice a day
2. Nux Vomica-30 30 6 pills twice a day
Pl keep 30-40 minutes gap between 1 and 2
Pl take the treatment for 15 days and then give feedback

Also wanted to let you know that about 2 weeks back he coughed continuously for 2 days and the doctor told it might be an asthma attack and put him on steroids for. 5 days then she suggested pulmicort for the night until the end of march.buthis cough has been the rebut no shortness of breath or wheezing

I did start the medicines from last Thursday as suggested by you . He was fine till yesterday but yesterday night he coughed for some time and today evening also he started coughing for some. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Pl check what he ate when started again coughing. You need to keep a watch on his food, which aggravates his cough. You need to avoid that. Pl check whether he has a milk intolerance.
Pl stop his medicines for one day. That day you give him one dose of 6 pills of Pertussin-200 at bed time.
Next day no medicines at all
Then again start our earlier treatment for one week and give me feedback

Pertussin 200 is not available only in 30c orb30 x it is available what should I do.

Not available in the stores I have to order it online it may take 4 to 5 days to receive it any other alternatives please

In Homeopathy, it is very difficult to tell which medicine will be required when. It is because it is prescribed purely on basis of symptoms.

PL do not give pure milk to him as many time milk causes cough. Pl avoid it till he is totally cured.

I gave him pertussin30c yesterday night but today he is coughing now and then also it will take me another 2 to 3 days to receive the corallium rubrum since it is not available here.
