vulvar lichen planus

I have had vulvar LP for several years. It started when I was 15 and I now am 62. Once I was finally diagnosed I am using the typical steroid gels which help to a point but do not help with the horrible pain that arises when in an episode. Pain is localized in the inner labia and clitoris.
I have just begun homeopathic treatment and acupuncture. I would appreciate any advice that is out there.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

No two homeopaths will handle a case the
same way . In order to give advice they would
have to take your entire case and give their
second opinion. Then you would have to choose
between following your homeopath you have
seen in person and someone online.

It is always better to see someone in person bc
there are many things that will lead to right
remedy choices that are part of the homeopathic
case taking that cannot be utilized online.

Usually homeopaths won't let you do acupuncture
at the same time as taking homeopathic meds
bc it can antidote remedies or confuse what
is really working. I hope you have told your
homeopath what you are doing so you get
the most out of your treatment. I am sure
one of these modalities is going to help you out.

Thx. for your response. I realize all that you said except that mine is also giving me acupuncture as well. She did say that she was just going to give me meds. but because of my history and problems she decided I needed both.
