Cold & Cough

My duaghter (22 months) woke up this morning with a stuffy nose. Throughout today she has had a consistent runny nose (mostly clear liquid), consistent sneezing (sometimes sneezing out phlegm) and later in the day developed a slight fever. She coughs occassionally but I think it is due to post nasal drip. She is "out of sorts". She will play but is easily distracted and behaves as if she can't get comfortable. Her appetite is also diminished.

When she sleeps she is "jumpy" in that she startles & twitches a lot.

i am very new to homeopathy. Can someone guide me on what remedy I should start with, at what dose and how long?

I gave her some echinacea but she wouldn't take vitamin C.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There are lot of medicines for cough and cold, but to start with you can give nux vomica 30c in alternation with bryonia 30c 3-4 times daily. echinacea has nothing to do with cough and cold, but for your kind information it is best substitute of antibotics for fever.try it sometimes.
the dose of above mentioned remedies is 1-2 drops in a little water.you can add little bit of glucose or sugar to sweeten it.
sajjad.
