Is there any treatment for prostate enlargement in Homoepathy. I have heard it gives only symptomic relief and ultimately one has to go for surgery. So why waste time on homoepathy. Delay in surgery may cause other relevant problems, so earlier is the better.Springs on 2013-05-06

There are many homeopathic medicines that can help in this disorder. Therefore it is important that you tell about the symptoms you have, in relation to your prostate enlargement.
If you have for example a pain, and if so, can you describe the pain?
Can you have pain elsewhere in the body, for example in the back. Maybe especially when you urinate?
Do you have a feeling of a ball in perineum (between the penis and anus)?
Dripping of prostate fluid?
And, quite important, can you remember anything that happened especially before you discovered this, something traumatic in one form or another?

it is correct the homeopathy deals with symptom and there are many remedies which according to symptoms are usefuly for treatment of enlarged prostate.
I may add here a medicine This is a herbal medicine namely 'GULMANDENE' which is a product of HAMDARD DAWAKHANA is very useful in almost all the case of enlarged prostate. Many patient of this problem have been benefited by this product.

I remember I used to go to Hamdard Unani Dawakhana with my parents when I was kid. But Hamdard are lazy in replying to email, I had tried before in other case. GULMANDENE sounds to be sweet in taste. I am diabetic and have HBP also. Will it suit me?

Please do not add sugar after boiling that herb. Otherwise it is also useful for diabtese.

Dr.Simone 777, You seems to have given an sparkle of hope that enlargement can be reduced with homoepathy.Dr. Guptas email is bouncing back. Can you please confirm from him. Because if only symptoms will get relief, then ultimately I will have to go for surgery. In that case sooner is better.
