perianal abscess

my husband, aged 42 has been suffering fr repeated instances of perianal abscess. he was operated 3ce in the last 6 years. initially we did go for homeopathy but the situation got so bad that he had to be rushed for emergency surgery to drain out the abscess. Ths time, he hasnt taken any allopathic drugs, from may 6th, he was on homeo (doc didt give names of 4 drugs, rest was mimosa pudica and gun powder). we changed over to another homeopath on 11th may, who changed drugs and assured healing in 3-4 days.but the pain has increased and so has the size of the lump near the rectal opening. doc says, the abscess will ripen and the pus will ooze out through the rectal opening. kindly enlighten me if the theory and the course of treatment is appropriate. Pl reply urgently as the pain is increasin hourly.
