The ABC Homeopathy Forum

to mr. zady

I was recently recommended to address my health inquiry to Mr. Zady. Hopefully I did this right, as I would love to get an insightful response. I was also told to fill out the following questionnaire in reference to my symptoms:

Sex: Female
Age: 22

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering?

I have been experience a gradually intesifying set of (what I believe to be interrelated) symptoms over the past five years. The primary symptom would probably be best classified

as menorrhagia (heavy menstrual bleeding, accompanied by intense abdominal pain, bloating, and anemia symptoms - dizziness, nausea, weakness of muscles, fever). The

symptoms, which do not always occur, but have become more frequent of late, only appear on the first day of menstruation.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

I suspect that I have hormonal imbalance associated with the aforementioned symptoms. I have had periods of rapid weight gain (for example, in January of 2012, I gained over

20 pounds in less than a month, with no change in eating habits and an INCREASE in physical activity). My weight has since stabilized, but who knows when the next weight jump

will happen. I also have been experiencing increased bouts of depression, though thankfully the depression usually lifts after a week or two. Depression is not the norm for me.

I also have had an increased feeling of pressure on my lower left abdomen, sort of like someone is pushing out against my skin with their fist. This is a sporadic sensation, but I

usually am aware of the pressure, even if it is not at its most prominent. Menstrual pain also tends to focus in that same area.

The following two I will mention, though I don't know that they have anything to do with the other symptoms. I believe that I have digestive issues (though I gain weight, my appetite

has dimished greatly. If I ate only when I was hungry, I would currently only eat once every other day.) I have experienced bloating, abdominal pressure, and occassionally

intense abdominal pain, with the mere thought of food making me feel sick. Recently I started taking DE, which has, fortunately relieved a lot of these symptoms, though they start

back up if I forget to take it.

The other thing which may not be related is that very recently (within the last year and a half) I have noticed that I have a swollen lump in my neck, under my jaw towards my right

ear. At times it swells up, and my neck feels slight pain (more like the muscles in that area are too tired to keep working).

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Occassional bouts of depression.

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Intense bodily pain, to the point of almost passing out at its worst.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

My best guess is that the initial (and then almost unnoticeable) symptoms started up in 2009. I have no knowledge of any past events or diseases that may have caused these

symptoms.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

There isn't really a time of day. It's fairly sporadic.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

When these symptoms arise, standing or sitting for too long or active movement makes it worse.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

I am not entirely sure. I think part of it might be genetic predisposition. I have been told that my family has a tendency towards things like thyroid problems, PCOS, and

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

I am from a dry state, so humidity is rarely fun to deal with. I am also pretty warm-blooded, so I deal with cold much better than hot weather.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

I am wary of new situations (until I know the rules), I usually listen and observe rather than talk, I am restless (I have to be doing things, otherwise I start getting antsy), I have a

tendency towards arrogance (something I have to watch for), and I have a slow-burning fuse when it comes to getting angry.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

Very energetic, happy, and content.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

Not really, no. My family tends to laugh at emotional displays, so you might understand why.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

Yes. I tend to be sensitive to light and sound most, but also touch and smell.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

I talk to myself a lot. I also have an unfortunate habit of scratching at scabs, especially when bored or nervous.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

I am afraid of being hit in the face with anything (I have been known to duck when I see a frisbee coming at me from the corner of my eye), spit disturbs me, and the mental image of

my skin and muscle tissue being severed via hospital needles also deeply disturbs me. I don't really dream of situations repeatedly. I am almost never in my dreams.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

I love potatoes, onions, and fruit.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

I feel like I'm always thirsty. So, excessive.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Less.

15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

I suspect that I might have some level of gluten intolerance, and I also suspect that I have mild seafood allergies. I also can't handle sweet/sugary things very well.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?

I'd say normal. I sweat most from my hands and face.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

Regular.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

When I fall asleep, I usually stay asleep, but it takes me a long time to get to fall asleep. I sleep on my stomache, with one arm under my head.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

I process information differently than most people that I have ever spoken with. I am very good at reading the moods and conversational subtext of people around me. I am not so

good at idle chit chat. I am strategic, I will not make a move in any given situation (or, if I do I will be very nervous) until I fully understand how things work. I have little patience for

people who manipulate, who act silly for attention, or who assume to know me when they don't really talk to me. I have a thirst for knowledge, and have almost an obsessive need

to answer questions, sometimes a little too bluntly for most people's taste. I have no interest in bandwagons.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

No medications. I take Zeal (a dietary supplement), and DE.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

Thyroid trouble, depression, PCOS, and fibroid tumors. Those are the ones I'm aware of.

23. Describe, what you look like? Describe your overall appearance

Petite, inverted triangle build. Currently overweight.

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

Please answer the following questions:
(Please give details of your past menstruation if you have attained menopause.)
- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?

They tend to be late or early by a week. There was a period of a year or two where evey now and then they would skip completely. If I get symptoms, it lasts 4-5 days. 5-6 if not.

- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?

Yes, shooting pain down my legs, plus intense abdominal pain. During the night before or the first day of menstruation.

- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?

Excessive.

- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?

Thick, bright red.

- Do you notice any clots in the flow?

Yes.

When did you last get your thyroid checked? Goitre?

Zady101 last decade
Every time that I have asked to have hormones/thyroids checked, I have been told that I don't need to because I am simply experiencing basic hormone body changes. I obviously don't agree, but the several doctors I have seen don't want to listen.
