Indifference to Family

Hello, I am needing some assistance on a case - if anyone could point me in the right direction. Details below.
Note: Sepia has been taken 2 years ago, but made no difference.

Patient ID: Sex: Age: Female, 59 years old



1. Describe your main suffering?

Total indifference to husband especially - nasty. Selects when she will speak to her children and grandchildren. (has taken all the pictures off the wall of family). Rude - eg. barges in the door before husband, and closes the door on him. that sort of rudeness.
Puts on a big act while in public to make out everything is fine, but once behind closed doors - its a war zone. A very angry person.


2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

Breast Canser - Stage 4.
Wegners Granulomosis.

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Mental sufferings - believes she is going to die eventually from the Breast C. Thinks it is far worse than it is. (Note: it is fully under control with this medication). There are far worse cases out there. She has had Breast C for 2-3 years. Lumps appear then disappear continusly.


4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Tired, no energy. Must sleep.
Early sleeper, but get up in middle of night to eat.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

cannot connect to an event or disease. Had this mentality for over 15 years.


6. Which time of the day you are worst?

Morning - on waking, (but not all the time) evening, night

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?



8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

Maybe in relation to the prescription medicine for both Breast C and Wegners, but the symptoms mentally were there before this all started.


9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

Hot weather - flustered. But no longer menopausal. Better in mild weather. Sinus problems worse Spring & Winter.


10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

Moody, argumentative.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?

No difference

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

Do not like consoled. But not enough to use as a rubric.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

Sensative to smell. - good sense of smell.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

Easy to start weeping.= generally. eg. loved one saying goodbye.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

as above.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

Large fear of Mice / Rats


12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

Like most food. No aversions.


13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Normal for water. Excessive for alcohol.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Generally normal. Although recently - increased because of new medication shes on.
Gains weight very easily.


15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

Bananas

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

Good

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

Sleep generally good, although can wake up with pain in legs with wegeners.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

no

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

Shy, naïve.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

Hormonal medication taken for the canser. No chemotherapy at all. Symptoms were there before any medication was taken for both physical complaints.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

Father - Canser, Pancreatic.
Father also - 'not all there, mentally'
Sister - lump removed, breast canser. Same sister with mental issues - 'not all there'.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance

Tall, caucasion - but have olive skin - easy to tan. Dark hair. Soft skin - nice, on face. Big boned - not obese, but overweight. (solid)

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

No periods. - Past menopause. But started menopause around 42 years of age.
Other Notes:
Her Mother passed away 3 months ago, she was the sole carer of her, for the short time she was ill.
The mental symptoms are not in relation to this - they have been present for years. She is the oldest in her family, and runs the affairs. She has started to cry finally to let the grief go.
She drinks alcohol excessively, and now is drinking on the sly.
Wegners - aches in joints, and sinusitis.
Coughs - nervous cough.
Sighs - but not an Ignatia type.
If you need any more questions answered - I would be happy to reply asap.

Any suggestions on remedy - most welcome please, thankyou Chelle.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Phos, Calc, Nux and Lyc are quite close. The remedy should be selected on the basis of further differential analysis.
