dog with red rash and constant itching

I have a pedigree red cattle dog with a constant red ras like scarlet fever who is always itching. When I bought him home at 7 weeks old he already was itching and then developed a rash. I took him to a homeopathic allergy clinic(they use a black box) and I have tried changing his diet and at the moment am using a low dose sulphur 6c. I also used psorinum and avarious other homeopathic remedies. Everything I have tried might work for a day or so then he starts itching and the rash comes back. As soon as he goes outside and touches the grass his body has an auto immune response. I have tried the common grasses remedy, I have also given him through the allergy clinic vacillinum and thuja, it goes on and on trying remedies that only work for awhile

thank u Dr Saravanan..I have sulphur in LM but have followed the recent post and this is the second day of 5sulphur30c day. At the moment he hasn't changed. I use 2 bush flower remedies in his water cherry plum and crab apple. These did not have any effect. I looked up bush flower remedies for dogs and these 2 seemed most like him. I would really like to know what to give him to free him of his red rash and constant itching.

Hi Anuj

The problem I seem to have with my cattle dog dexter is that when I first give him a remedy he appears to be improved. This naturally pleases me and I think I am on the way with the healing process. The main problem is that as a cattle dog he is daily in long grass and as well as an allergy to long grass I have been treating him for an allergy to biting insects.], a remedy chosen by the allergy centre Once again(over a period of 18months, this is his age) I give him the remedy he appears better then reverts back to a recurring red rash and itching. His nose at the momemt is dry and hot with a red rash (some spots are round, others join up) He is on his second day of sulphur30c 5 three times a day. I don't think he is proving because this is typical.

I think you may have to describe the dog like a person and
go for a constitutional remedy to improve him overall.

If the dog is having allergy and rashes, then please ensure he is confined to your house, and does not get in contact with the allergens.Medicine will improve his condition but precaution is essential.

Do you feel your dog is having fever/GOT HIM CHECKED ?
aias he drinking water?

anuj srivastava last decade
Start giving him Rhus Tox 30 three times a day.Stop sulphur, to be given ones in three days.Take precautions and no external applications.

anuj srivastava last decade
Dexter after rhus tox 30 has a cold nose. thanks will do as u say

arkie last decade
monitor the rashes also and keep giving your valuable feed backs every three days.

anuj srivastava last decade
Hi anuj. thanks for your reply. will do as u say and let u know in a couple of days. His nose is still cold but continues to scratch, mainly at night. This morning when I checked him out his rash was hardly visible(his r ash is all on his underbelly under tail round scrotum and under legs, not around ears or eyes u wouldn't think he had a rash at all. It is never consistant or stable and moves around. It is hard to keep him indoors as he is acattle dog and I live in the country. even when he is locked up indoors(I have tried) his rash and itch are no different.

Hi Anuj

By the third day of Rhus Tox Dexter's nose became cold and wet and his rash died down.

I did not give him his third dose of Rhus Tox and waited to see what he was like the next day.

He still had a cold nose and his rash had disappeared . As he is still scratching I gave him one sulphur 30c this morning.

could you please advise me on what to do. Is it correct to stop Rhus Tox wants the fever dies down and move to sulphur to treat the itching/

If I start the Sulphur 30c what dosage.?

If he gets a fever again whilst on Sulphur do I stop
sulphur and go back on Rhus Tox?

I have in my homeopathic kit sulphur 6c, 30c, LMC1 and 10m.

Your help has been invaluable
Thanks Arkie

Hi Anuj I have a post under hyperhidrosis Would you mind having a look and helping me. I took some advice from the forum and have just started what was advised 6 thuja 200c twice daily for 15 days.

thanks you Arkie

arkie last decade
Thuja 200 twice a day?i dont recommend. it can be one dose only as it is a very long acting remedy.

i still feel you should continue with rhus giving an intermittent dose of sulphur as your dog is recovering.

anuj srivastava last decade
ok you a re right he is still recovering and his fever comes and goes.

thanks again.
