Toddler with Nigt terror issue .. Please help

My 18 month son is having problem sleeping through the night. He wakes up almost exactly same time around 12-12:30 am every night crying. We pick him up asap and try to console him but in vain.He is not quite awake yet not completely asleep. He cries and it feels like he is scared and angry because his sleep is disturbed. When we pick him he will throw his legs and hands but he still wants to be picked up. If we try to put him to bed he will cry even more. We try to console him that time but he is not in stage of understanding anything. He usually takes his time to calm down(like 10 min) and once he is asleep we put him to bed.Till 4:00 am in the morning he will tossing and turning and we have noticed his legs twitching/trembling in his sleep. He wakes up 3-4 times during the night. Sometimes we have to pick him and walk him till he is asleep but sometimes he just goes to sleep by little cuddling/patting/reassurance.He has no fear of dark or dogs or any other noticeable fears. He is very sensitive to noise from birth. Even with slightest noise in the room he used to wake up when he was a baby.

Development is normal and no other complains during day-time. He has tall slender built and is very sociable, happy toddler.
Please advice !

He has poor sleep since birth. He used to wake up at night 2-3 times and we thought that it will improve with time after he will be 6 months old. However his sleep is still poor at 18 month. The night terror started after he turned 1. It tooks a while for us to identify his nighttime waking and crying as night terror after we ruled out if there is any issue with hunger or any physical problem.
He took Belladona 30c for 3 times/5days with no significant improvement. then he took 3 doses of Phos 200c and there was little improvemnt in his sleep. He still used to wake up but the crying part was less. This effect remained for about 1 week but after that he again went back old routine of waking and crying. Then we gave 3 doses of Sulphur 200c. The effect of sulphur remained for about 15 days. He was only waking up once or so and we did not have to pick him up. We started all of this when he was around 15 months. Some days he sleeps ok without waking up but he tosses and turns so much that it looks like he can wake up any time. He sleeps with me on a king bed and I hardly get any space to sleep. He sleeps all over the king bed and 5-6 times during night I have to reposition him.

He is a normal, active, happy toddler during the day. Even with interrupted sleep he seems to be fine during the day. He takes 2 hour nap during day and rest of the day is constant play.He is stubborn in nature. If he wants something it is very hard to distract him. He is sharp intellectually and has strong memory( does not forget thing easily). He is not taking any medicines currently. He catches cold frequently and gets severe chest congestion and wheezing on 2nd-3rd day of cold cycle. He dont have asthma but with each cold he gets severely congested like he is drowning in mucus and not able to breathe. Other than chest congestion and sleep problem everything is fine.

Let me know if you need more info.

Hi

Please give Arsenicum Album 6C as per the below method:

Please dissolve 2 pellets or 1 drop of the remedy in 3 teaspoons water. Stir vigorously, several times.

Give 1 teaspoon to him in the night, throw away 2 remaining teaspoons water.

Please do this once a night for 3 nights and update me after the doses are finished.

Please use disposable cups and spoon.

I have Arsenicum Album 30c available. Can I use that in place of 6c. It will take few days for me to procure 6c.

Then please give him only one dose of Arsenicum 30 and update me after 3 days.

Hi,

What's the status now? Any improvements?

Zady101 last decade
Yes. There is improvement. He is sleeping through the night. Somedays he wakes up but goes back to sleep in 5-10 mins. Last night he woke up crying but I am not sure if he woke up because of night terror or because he did potty and was uncomfortable. He has never soiled his diaper in sleep during night since he turned 6 months. It is possible that he might have nightmare and because of that he soiled his diaper and woke up because of that. But this was the only occurrence when he woke up crying and angry/scared(mixed). If the same old rountine repeats after few days, can I give Arsenic Album to him again?

Thanks !

Ok, good. Please repeat Arsenicum 30 in water now ONCE only.
