can you help my gandson !!!!!!!!!!!!
My Grandson is will be 10 in Nov. He as ADD. He has been on Adderall XR, Concerta, Ritalin, and controlled diet which he is still on. The meds helped with concentration at school but all the meds. took his appetite away and his weight went down to 52lbs and he did not look good. We took him his meds when summer started and he gained 12 lbs. and look like himself again. Now the trouble comes school has started again and the school wants him back on his meds. he is not a behavior problem he just cannot concentrate longer then 2 to 3 seconds has great diffuculty getting things from the board or book to his paper he will still be on the first one when the rest of the class is almost done. He picks at his nail beds and day dreams and then is lost and has to start over again. He has a bus ride of 1 hr. 30 min to and from school so he is driven to school. He also gets migraine headaches from stress. When he gets home he is to start his homework which will take him to bed time for him and the family. He then will begin stating that he has a stomach ache or his head hurts, that he knowns that he is stupid, does not sleep well, will start the moring off by not wanting to go to school. He is a healthy boy, loves the outdoors, loves to be with people, very caring, races 4-wheelers and was champion last year.
