Toddler with chesty cough

Toddler 20 months has had cough which has now become very chesty and runny nose (yellow thick) for two weeks. I have treated with pulsatilla, hepar sulph and it has not got better or worse really. She is eating well and sleeping well, apart from a small amount of coughing in the night plus she can't breathe so well through her nose. I feel like I need to go to the doctors. We think it came in on a sand storm as we live in Qatar and it was very windy for a week. Also the temperatures are 40 degrees but the inside air cons are freezing. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi. I managed to get the medicines and so will be entering day 3 tomorrow. The coughing is only about 3 times per day now and not at night. The nose is drying up and in fact I didn't need to wipe it all day since breakfast. So, good news!

I, however, am now coughing. I feel fine in myself, but had a sore throat and when I talk it catches and I cough. The cough has gotten worse and is loud, dry but is moving to my chest and mucus is coming up, especially when I'm lay down or laugh. I have taken phosphorus but I would welcome advice please.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi update after 4 days. Her nose has cleared up completely. She coughs a few times per day and its still a bit chesty and phlegm comes up I think. Do I stop the medicine or continue it?

I have cough also in chest. Worse when lying down or laughing. I have taken phosphorous, Kali bich and now was considering ant art as it fits the MMM. Ay advise?

Thank you.

Hi, now my husband has the sore throat and cough, he is where I was a week ago. I was up in the night coughing. It feels a bit tight on the chest but when I cough, sometimes it's dry and sometimes it's loose. Once the phlegm comes up I feel completely normal. Please advise. Now I'm thinking nux vom for all of us, but I'm very concious and observe the law of th minimum dose and so I need help please...thank you

Hello dr.

Thank you for your comments.

Update. I haven't been able to get merc sol from the homeopath. Anything else? Her nose is running thick a lot still.

Me: I still have a bad cough, sometimes I heave and wretch. I've finished the three days of drosera.

Husband...will update in a few days.

Thank you so much.

Hello sir,

With the greatest respect I see that you are not a trained homeopath. I am also interested in homeopathy, but could never prescribe and so I sm interested to know why you feel that you can? Years of experience? How do you know these things without studying or becoming qualified? This is asked with respect and not in any way sarcastically just to be clear.

We are British and our homeopathy is generally one 30 c pilule with varying timescales. I am therefore confused by the 'law of the minimum dose' when , for example, you say take 6 x200 c at bedtime. How do you know these things if you are not qualified or trained?

I would like to give you an update. Things tonight got very serious!

Daughter: 8 months. Has had runny nose for a couple of weeks. I have aconite thinking a cold was coming. Nothing more. She developed tonight croup and we took her to ER. Please advise urgently what we should do.

Daughter 20 months: I don't have merc sol, I live in Qatar and can't get everything. Please can you kindly suggest an alternative? She still has thick, greeny, sometimes clear mucus from her nose. Coughin infrequently but if she coughs its still chesty.

Me: still coughing. Sometimes lots of mucus and wretching. Can't speak or laugh as it makes me cough. Sometimes it's a dry cough. Finished drosera course.

Husband: dry cough, sore throat, sometimes coughin up mucus.

I feel desperate because our whole family is sick. The Dr at ER said croup was viral and gave seem meds, which I don't want to take.

Please can you advise, or recommend to me a qualified homeopath who you may know on this forum?

Thank you

You say 'some other doctors'. Are you a doctor? Please, I asked with respec,t are you dropping my case because I asked you your background or because you don't know how to advise me anymore?

Simon, we live in Qatar not Dubai. Homeopathy is illegal here actually and shipping in medicine would also require X-ray and would be stopped at customs I expect.

Hi ceava,

I live in qatar and just wanted to know that how can i get homeopathic medicines in qatar?

Is there any place or some individual who sells them here in Qatar? Or is it possible to get them through online shipping?

Thanks and waiting for your reply...
